Majic and Druce have successfully formed a government. The vote was 6-2, with JHB and Delap being the "No"s.
Majic and Druce will now conduct a legislative phase. I will post the results when they are done.

Majic and Druce have combined to enact a Russian policy. As this is the third Russian policy enacted, Majic will now select the next party leader. Term limits do not apply to this selection, although he cannot choose himself. After this "special election", the order will return to the established order. So the order of party leaders will be (1) Majic's selection, (2) Tim, and (3) SPL. Then we will go to the top of the order with BK. Now that we have a third Russian policy in effect, if Trump is elected President the Russians and Trump win. The scoreboard is American policies: 3 Russian policies: 3 Election tracker: 0

Today is my last day of vacation. I’ll start harassing people when I get back. Herb Simon has nothing to do with me or my championship. When he moved to the Central Division, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Herb was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the championship by defeating seven Eastern Conference playoff teams, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Beastlantic Era. Now that he is on his own, Herb is learning that winning isn't as easy as I make it look. Herb had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women and robots of this sim league. Herb pretends to be at war with the Worstern Conference, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time in Southeastern Manhattan leaking false information to the Pissific to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Herb was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony free agency reports. We have many great human general managers who are very supportive of the Make Sim League Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the Laughing Out Loud Wrong The Main Board Sim League and are helping to finally take our league back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down. |

The Russians will win if they elect Trump or if they enact 3 more Russian policies. As a reminder, on the next Russian policy the party leader will be able to send a player to jail. I think it's very likely Russians would play American policies throughout the game unless it was advantageous not to (ie get to send someone to jail or get to pick next party leader). Being deliberately anti-American wouldn't work, especially if an American gave them a choice as party leader. |

You are definitely not Trump but saying you can be trusted to pick American policies is a step too far. One instance of playing an American policy doesn't mean anything, and it won't verify anyone is American unless they do it in a game-winning scenario. |
