Let's make things more interesting by dialing it back on the position rules and go back to letting people play anywhere (except for PG where a player would need to at least have B+ handles to play there).

I think it would add variety to what people tried to do with building their team and could possibly add more life to the trade market.

If people don't want to go all the way with getting rid of the position rules, we could just go back to allowing true bigs like PF/Cs to play SF and PFs/SFs to play SG.

It will accomplish the opposite of what you want it to accomplish - teams will be built with LESS variety if everyone can put a 7' guy at shooting guard. Which brings me to my next point.

It's asinine to have 7' guys playing shooting guard.

There's plenty of variety in team building and there's plenty of action in the trade market.

This is a solution in search of a problem.
