preseasonI want to start off by saying that these evaluations are as always solely based on stats, and my personal feelings about any person play no role. It's not personal. I want to continue starting off by saying that this is an unusually excellent class of rookies and so I expect the order to change quite a bit as the season goes on. I want to end starting off. . . 1. Handsome Pete "Accidentally" became SF eligible when Pete "forgot" to include /C in his draft "profile". Those lies and six dollars will get you fourteen chicken McNuggets in Union Station. In a class full of slick scorers Pete stands at the top even if only barely with a cool 1.15 xpts/tsa/VORPshare/real, and he's doing it with an elite Jump Shot which bodes extremely well for even further growth. That his already very good defense doesn't excel in this class is a testament to how 4.0-killing game-breaking well reflective of reality it is, and ten rebounds from the small forward position never hurts. The only tiny flaw so far is his Handling could be a little higher. Good luck prying this rapturous total package from the Celtics GM's cold, bloodless grip. . 2. Eric Hofmann Another slick scorer but this time at the prestige PG position. HOFmann isn't the total package Pete is, he leaves a lot more to be desired on the rebounding front and is operating at an 8 Charisma deficit at least, but the stubborn defensiveness has a chance to be special at 2.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per 36 minutes. Another nick keeping him below mint condition is that his Passing attribute is currently microscopic, and as that grows it'll sap his scoring volume and pump his turnovers, but assuming concomitant Handling growth they shouldn't be a big deal. Years of lambasting heavyreign threw a monkey wrench in his TC, but the damage is not too bad. . 3. [Just] Yawn At last a sim player with the first name [Just] who's worth a minimum contract. The pride of the Pacers is yawning down Pete's neck for most efficient scorer in the class, and unlike the robot his rebounds aren't mediocre. Goes to sleep on the defensive end but some kind TCs should bring out at least a league average defender. Clips of his handling prompt inexplicable roared obscenities from the crowd, but overall it's merely good. Everyone in the top three is a legit game changing foundational superstar you can build a championship team around as the #1 go to guy option. . 4. Tim Pig The blue line to half court centre circle ¡allez hop! Prince of Wales Subconference Co-Champion connection pays off for GM "Carolina" 'Canes, as he lands a player who is at worst a better Kobe Maggette and at best a worse Patrick Ewing. You gotta be careful with these low scoring sports players especially in preseason, but if the efficiency is there spurring on the volume isn't hard. . 5. Sean Stoner Knockoff Shaun Stowner presents a truly odd assortment of talents. He can't score with volume or efficiency, but he drills free throws. His rebounding is a little low for a forward, but his defense looks Shu Covington-esque. And even from the small forward position he's the class king of handles. There are enough elite skills here for The Big Commish to become a real star, but it's gonna take a lot of work and a lot of luck. . 6. Josh Dutt As a plus scorer Dutt is very close to breaking into the upper three, and you gotta figure that clean Christian living will make him better suited to the rigors of a long sim season than the flamboyant proclivities of Judaism, the ceaseless perfectionism of robotics, and the perverse adultery of the Yawninites. At the same time, being ahead a rebound is worth way less than being behind a block, so he needs to not only catch up but leapfrog in scoring efficiency. Not the grisliest of outlooks, but were you a bettor you wouldn't expect a couver. . 7. JeSuis Herb Pacers suck. . 8. Ward Dunn Like Dutt but without the rebounding. He's an easy max player and he's only #8 on the ladder. What a class. This hasn't royally screwed up the league at all. . 9. Chase Kepler A great TC made Kepler look like the bee's knees. On the court the picture is a little more anemic, but he's giving you strong defense and handles. Jump Shot / Three Shot is backwards from optimal, but the Jump Shot SC he gets should help solve the scoring volume concerns too, so it's not that big of a redheaded flag. . 10. Rodney LandrumA software guy, Rodney's defense is iffy but the scoring is too absurd not to give him a brief nod. Hopefully next update we can make it a clean sweep for humans general managers. . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.145 1.80 0.67 10.45 22.80 100.21 12.79 1.150 1175 Handsome Pete SF 1.127 1.01 1.00 4.56 23.07 96.53 49.47 1.126 369 Eric Hofman PG 1.124 0.78 2.25 6.52 22.70 106.94 39.06 1.148 428 [Just] Yawn SG 0.997 3.64 2.71 11.22 10.79 85.74 5.26 0.997 667 Tim Pig C 0.940 2.75 4.50 7.15 12.64 95.15 40.85 1.007 406 Sean Stoner SF 1.083 0.10 2.11 7.34 25.29 90.51 70.49 1.110 980 Josh Dutt SG 1.098 0.86 2.00 6.32 23.57 93.87 67.13 1.074 874 JeSuis Herb PG 1.112 0.71 2.72 4.15 21.64 97.28 63.72 1.094 926 Ward Dunn SG 1.043 0.42 3.08 5.17 14.89 77.47 83.53 1.047 1057 Chase Kepler PG 1.103 1.86 1.80 11.79 15.67 68.31 22.69 1.103 719 Rodney Landrum C 1.095 0.73 0.14 9.45 24.00 86.21 4.79 1.092 287 Buster 5000 C 0.800 0.00 1.25 5.81 11.61 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 25 Cameron Stojakovic SF 0.885 0.57 0.70 10.18 10.74 64.42 26.58 0.882 554 Damon Gaines C 0.922 2.89 4.67 12.88 11.04 96.20 -5.20 0.922 356 Daniel Leonard 2.0 C 1.087 0.00 3.00 1.53 22.98 110.63 50.37 1.163 56 Delap Throws PG 1.075 0.00 2.33 1.80 27.90 85.57 75.43 1.111 120 Em Jay SG 0.995 2.69 1.33 12.00 19.96 96.53 -5.53 0.998 853 Ethan Harris PF 0.939 0.59 1.19 8.76 11.84 69.67 66.33 1.000 912 Geoff Thao SF 0.800 2.48 2.67 10.18 9.43 9.22 81.78 0.799 348 Harry G C 0.891 1.38 1.00 11.08 13.38 81.77 -12.77 0.891 608 Heel Tiger C 1.146 1.57 1.50 4.70 21.91 110.63 25.37 1.146 23 Ian Boyd 2.0 SG 1.063 0.33 1.68 4.67 17.00 64.55 96.45 1.039 626 Inur Fason PG 1.233 3.60 #DIV/0! 21.60 36.00 110.63 15.37 1.233 10 James H. JHB per 36:
36 ppg, 21 rpg, 3.6 bpg on 1.233 pts/tsa
Not top 10
Can't explain that

I guess after seeing preseason, I made the right call in keeping Lebron and not sending him in a package for Sean Lavs

day 30. 1. Handsome Pete SF - LR #1Isn't giving you the efficiency of preseason yet but the d/r package is still there. Apparently a 7'1" 290 lb small forward with A- Inside is good, who knew. . 2. JeSuis Herb PG - LR #7I read one time that actually, Judaism actually has two Gods, that's why their logo is two triangles superimposed, an up and a down. At any rate, Judaism has two sim Gods in this rookie class. Pete gets Audrey Tautou obviously (French Canadian) so that leaves Commish Tom Hanks, and it's a beautiful day in the simborhood. You'd like a little more defense but the handles are already sharp and should grow to elitely sublime levels, and you can't pec the scoring. It's impeccable. . 3. Josh Dutt SG - LR #6It's the duty of every man to strive for his ceiling. Josh doesn't have the heights of other prospects in this class, but on the other hand he could go +0 in every TC from here to the time beyond the horizon (Mark 3:29) and he'd still be a max player. . 4. Eric Hofmann PG - LR #2He came into the league filled with energy, but the shtick is wearing a little thin now. By Outside Grade he's not even a league average scorer anymore. [bill simmons] Hey Eric Hofmann can you get one rebound a quarter? Is that too much to ask? Allen Iverson is great so stats are stupid! [/bill simmons] With his scoring volume and Jump Shot you gotta figure the efficiency should come back up, and he still has the best defensive stats in class of perimeter players. Worth noting for HOF and doppelganger Herb is that both play on teams with one other elite volume scorer, so their ludicrous volume isn't entirely Adam Morrison Syndrome. . 5. Alex Lopez C - LR unrankedDidn't play in preseason. Typical late arriving Miami HEAT fan am I right folks. Is putting up truly absurd d/r numbers, not turning it over, and scoring at microscopic volume with intergalactic efficiency. Can't put too much stock in the efficiency yet but if it's real, +16 to the scoring attributes could possibly just might get him to perhaps actual volume, maybe. . 6. Ethan Harris PF - LR unrankedSuns remains stacked! The scoring catches the eye but the real importance is in the blocks. E-Har was in the high 2s per 36 in preseason, if 4s are legit he's an entirely different player, all together. . 7. Ward Dunn SG - LR #8Still here on the strength of his preseason, I don't care about any of his regular season numbers. If he doesn't get more PT and the class remains as strong he probably won't be on here long. w2d get at your boy gbg. . 8. Hulk Hogan Hedge-Hell SG - LR unrankedDudley Three D, meet Triple H Hedge-Hell. Good enough d/r numbers, good enough handles, electric scoring efficiency. With no preseason we have to take the sample with a grain of salt, but still, in most classes he'd get the Alredick Hughes memorial #6 spot. . 9. Robert Hack C - LR unrankedBarely played in preseason but is putting up elite d/r numbers now. B+ Rebounding seems unlikely to sustain 13.6 reb/36, but with such low scoring volume he could have tanked Strength - this ain't your daddy's Robert Strong. . 10. Sean Stoner SF - LR #5Unanimously voted the class most likely to keep being a weird prospect, and it shows. Handles have dipped to merely excellent, defense down a little, scoring efficiency up a little but still below average, rebounding even better. Nick Young question marks? . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.102 1.96 0.81 9.33 25.46 90.55 22.45 1.086 849 Handsome Pete SF 1.152 1.04 2.86 5.65 42.10 97.94 63.06 1.117 363 JeSuis Herb PG 1.099 0.10 1.32 8.41 26.41 94.35 66.65 1.098 400 Josh Dutt SG 1.059 1.06 1.79 3.82 37.49 93.52 52.48 1.039 678 Eric Hofmann PG 1.210 4.47 0.70 12.45 4.60 86.21 26.79 1.119 532 Alex Lopez C 1.078 4.02 1.50 12.26 17.62 101.30 -10.30 1.078 432 Ethan Harris PF 1.897 0.00 4.33 2.04 22.42 110.63 50.37 1.897 16 Ward Dunn SG 1.103 1.06 1.29 6.71 18.00 110.63 25.37 1.112 194 Hulk Hogan Hedge-Hell SG 0.904 4.02 1.00 13.60 6.64 91.96 -0.96 0.904 583 Robert Hack C 1.043 2.36 2.86 8.14 14.68 90.79 45.21 1.028 773 Sean Stoner SF 0.982 1.67 1.00 7.33 26.67 91.96 54.04 0.935 184 [Just] Yawn SG 0.968 0.20 4.00 9.80 16.60 93.00 88.00 1.100 126 2ude Poorfect SF 0.750 3.60 #DIV/0! 6.00 18.00 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 0.750 12 Ankly O'Saurus PG 0.693 1.50 2.00 6.75 3.75 70.95 42.05 0.693 48 B K SG 1.188 1.77 0.50 12.39 16.92 91.28 -0.28 1.170 366 Buster 5000 C 1.000 0.39 1.24 3.29 9.10 75.36 60.64 0.909 372 Calvin Sachs PG 0.982 0.20 3.10 4.98 18.31 77.65 83.35 1.046 814 Chase Kepler PG 0.917 1.40 0.42 9.97 11.38 72.84 18.16 0.952 185 Damon Gaines C 0.888 2.45 1.89 13.10 8.21 84.18 6.82 0.888 375 Daniel Leonard 2.0 C 1.067 0.48 1.08 5.76 4.80 57.72 11.28 1.099 518 Daniel Mullin SF 0.500 0.00 #DIV/0! 18.00 18.00 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 0.500 4 Delap Throws PG 0.979 0.00 2.33 5.57 15.22 100.05 60.95 1.093 223 Em Jay SG 1.474 0.46 2.00 9.69 20.31 65.28 47.72 1.338 62 Eric Camp C 0.971 1.08 1.22 9.98 10.19 63.02 72.98 0.977 299 Geoff Thao SF 0.787 2.52 1.56 13.82 10.36 48.10 42.90 0.822 434 Harry G C 0.912 1.96 1.00 12.39 12.65 72.84 -3.84 0.912 552 Heel Tiger C 0.975 0.11 1.82 4.79 12.89 41.99 119.01 1.020 710 Inur Fason PG 0.967 2.36 1.38 12.74 9.46 83.16 42.84 0.982 548 James H. day 60. 1. JeSuis Herb PG - LR #247 pts per 36 at 1.1 pts per tsa seems pretty good guys. That works out to .023 36 per tsa, you can't argue with that. Unless; you're a semiphobe. . 2. Handsome Pete SF - LR #1Pete's out here averaging a 27-10-2-1-1.2-0-0 (pts-reb-blk-stl-ast-dq-going to union station) and he's justifiably #2. What a class. . 3. Alex Lopez C - LR #5The efficiency has dipped to only average for a big fella, but those blocks and boards oh baby. If CompuGM doesn't drop +16 to A-Lop's Inside Scoring I'll eat a whole paper towel full of granola, yes that is too a thing. . 4. Josh Dutt SG - LR #3Still solid all the way across the board. If you were to graph his skills on the four main axes you'd get a big X. X stands for Jesus. Solve for Jesus. Where do we start with a man who is bigger than Yawn was when Yawn did his baptism thing? FOOLS!! You have no perception! The odds we are gambling are frighteningly high. We must crush him completely! So like Yawn before him this Josh Dutt must die. There's only one God ma'am, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't dress like that. What was I talking about? . 5. Eric Hofmann PG - LR #4Continues to wear out his welcome with too much posting up and not hitting enough of his shots. Has proven to have less catastrophic of a handle than previously shown, but maybe if he spent less time in his mom's basement graphing a Fourier transform of his human penis he'd have more'n mediocre FG%, widely known to be the only relevant measure of efficiency as demonstrated by HoFers Xavier McDaniels. . 6. Ethan Harris PF - LR #6Keep this man away from sleds (MORE LIKE ETHAN FROME ROFL LMBO) and get him a GM spot! He blocks! He boards! He scores! Preseason is still holding him back but Lopez better "watch" himself in the "face-off" "circle" for this "hooligan" "double minor" #Gretzky #GreatOne #hockeysports . 7. Em Jay SG - LR unrankedReally excellent efficiency. Doesn't bother all that much defending his moves, and you'd like to see him put in a little more effort, but sometimes you need a guy who doesn't care that much to keep the team moving. . 8. Sean Lavs SF - LR unrankedLeBron better be looking over both his shoulders, Sean Lavs is up to league average efficiency with a decent d/r package. GMs have expressed concern off the record about a rookie prospect missing games due to cirrhosis, but how many podcasts have they hosted, huh? That's what I thought. . 9. Robert Hack C - LR #9Gotta get back. Back to the pack. Sam or Bob Hack. Great d/r man. Look you gotta tip your cap to Herb, he's really made offensive big men viable again by nerfing blocks. Oh okay, he's not going to get much better. That's good since he's the best scorer in the history of sim league.

Oh okay, he's not going to get much better. That's good since he's the best scorer in the history of sim league. My understanding of the sim is that once true potential is less than the players current rating, their ratings will mostly decrease during TC to get closer to the true pot?

JeSuis Herb is fine as is. He was designed to be an elite scorer and to bring destruction upon 4.0. Leave him alone.

day 60. 1. JeSuis Herb PG - LR #1I Am Shuttlesworth, eat your heart out. . 2. Handsome Pete SF - LR #2The gap is not very big to #1 for Pete. He's obviously a much better defender/rebounder, and on a team with the great Dirk Nowitzki and the great Max Bing touches are hard to come by, so the volume gap isn't as big as it seems, plus Pete's Passing isn't likely to grow much. If the efficiency gap closes we'll have a real interesting year end final ladder. . 3. Eric Hofmann PG - LR #5HOFmann's efficiency and rebounding continue to be middling, but I love the D. He won't catch Pete at Union Station or anywhere else, and I'm not so sure I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't caught by someone below him, or not. What a Cinderella story. . 4. Hulk Hogan Hedge-Hell SG - LR unrankedSolid across the board. Just a reliable type of player, you know what you're getting. With the blocks has real elite ceiling. Reminds me of a young Mario Elie. . 5. Josh Dutt SG - LR #4More of a traditional steals build guard, also has a bit of the fumble fingers. With all these top five guys the efficiencies are what'll prove out in the end, and we won't be able to know that until a few more TCs/SCs/RCs. . 6. Ethan Harris PF - LR #6He should probably be higher but he's never once answered a trade PM. Karma. . 7. Ward Dunn SG - LR unrankedSlot Ward next to Mitch and it looks like the Pistons rebuild will be... Dunn soon. ⌐■_■ . 8. Em Jay SG - LR #7Like the scoring, don't get how drafting all those lotto bigs Jay still can't rebound. Makes you wonder. . 9. Alex Lopez C - LR #3This prospect's HEAT has dropped to a simmer, but a 4 blk 13 reb player will have a spot until the end of 4.0. . 10. Sean Stoner SF - LR unrankedThe Ol' Ball Commish comes back on the ladder. You just can't argue with blocks. day 120. 1. JeSuis Herb PG - LR #1Pretty good. Set the all time single season points per game as a rookie that came off the bench for part of the season. Best efficiency in the class min 1000 mp. Very good rebounder for a pg. Solid defensive numbers. Not bad. . 2. Handsome Pete SF - LR #2My thing that takes pictures didn't do the thing. Pete is rookie Larry Bird if you traded a steal for a block. Is that a good trade? . 3. Eric Hofmann PG - LR #3Efficiency is still slightly below average but the defense brings on salivation and salvation, which I understand are popular with my fellow humans. With no cap room to add a third star I feel like the CompuGM move might just be to 11001010010001000100011110001100 EOL EOF NFM GBFF0000 . 4. Ethan Harris PF - LR #6We've never really had an elite scoring big that didn't take threes and he wasn't that good in preseason so my guess is he's a young Patrick Ewing, which is a pretty good spot to be. . 5. Josh Dutt SG - LR #5Easy max perimeter player. #5 is the best you can get in this class with that kind of build. That's just the cross Dutt will have to bear. . 6. Hulk Hogan Hedge-Hell SG - LR #4By per36 he's in a better spot than Dutt but with no preseason and limited PT I'm more confident in Young HEATsus. . 7. Ward Dunn SG - LR #7You hear the pistons before you see the thunder, so keep an eye out for this young fella. Didn't record a steal in the regular season but his defensive numbers in preseason were decent. . 8. Em Jay SG - LR #8Could be a good scorer but between the volume and no blocks in 900 combined minutes, my hands are tied. . 9. Alex Lopez C - LR #9Already an elite d/r man. Only weakness is handling. The first GM to take the gloves off will have a star on their hands. Plus he'll be able to pick up his stick when he drops it. It's a win-win-win. . 10. Tim Pig C - LR unrankedHigher ceiling than Lopez due to the scoring volume but as they say in iced hockey a block in the hand is worth two in the crease of Wayne "The Main Wayne" Gretzky's office. . rest of lotto: Inur Fason - bad at scoring, defense, and handling. okay rebounder. a disgrace to the Monsoon family name Sean Lavs - not far from being a league average player, but needs work in all areas Chase Kepler - better than Fason in every category. still bad Jon-Michael Majkut - a little better scoring than SPL, a little worse rebounding. also needs work in all areas Geoff Thao - acceptable d/r for a SF. horrific scoring Sean Stoner - elite d/r package. poor scoring but not unsalvageable. a little TC TLC and he can be a star . stats pts/tsa blk/36 ast:tov reb/36 pts/36 JSH 3SH xp/t mp Player 1.135 1.00 2.00 5.89 48.89 98.81 62.19 1.126 2657 JeSuis Herb PG 1.092 1.96 0.80 10.82 27.23 94.36 18.64 1.080 3165 Handsome Pete SF 1.055 0.88 1.59 3.62 37.87 95.94 50.06 1.040 2690 Eric Hofmann PG 1.076 3.70 1.20 11.34 21.70 100.15 -9.15 1.076 1197 Ethan Harris PF 1.089 0.00 1.17 7.86 27.00 88.43 72.57 1.096 2297 Josh Dutt SG 1.046 1.05 2.00 6.29 18.87 96.63 39.37 1.089 618 Hulk Hogan Hedge-Hell SG 1.048 0.46 1.50 3.65 19.14 88.99 72.01 1.108 174 Ward Dunn SG 1.155 0.00 1.50 4.78 14.69 93.00 68.00 1.131 804 Em Jay SG 0.981 4.25 0.77 13.28 4.52 92.23 20.77 0.956 2222 Alex Lopez C 0.974 3.72 2.13 13.66 14.59 74.14 16.86 0.980 1833 Tim Pig C 1.012 1.45 2.00 6.68 22.35 101.30 44.70 0.973 719 [Just] Yawn SG 1.010 0.35 3.71 7.44 16.44 98.79 82.21 1.053 936 2ude Poorfect SF 0.849 1.64 1.00 13.09 9.82 51.11 84.89 0.913 79 Absimov Donovan PF 0.984 0.15 2.82 7.38 12.15 86.48 4.52 0.984 842 Ankly O'Saurus PG 1.013 1.09 0.86 7.64 9.38 83.53 29.47 0.980 1188 B K PF 1.215 0.00 1.33 14.85 7.79 63.02 -7.02 1.215 87 Brock Curley C 1.043 2.14 0.55 11.58 15.50 87.34 3.66 1.040 1656 Buster 5000 C 0.989 0.19 1.28 3.48 8.71 83.73 52.27 0.961 1414 Calvin Sachs PG 0.986 0.31 3.46 5.39 19.09 81.15 79.85 1.039 2707 Chase Kepler PG 0.927 0.98 0.50 9.56 14.20 74.40 16.60 0.936 1562 Damon Gaines C 0.857 2.24 2.50 12.57 8.10 87.06 3.94 0.857 1338 Daniel Leonard 2.0 C 0.848 0.41 0.70 5.35 3.70 39.48 29.52 0.890 1435 Daniel Mullin SF 1.037 0.99 2.00 5.92 26.14 70.95 90.05 0.988 80 Delap Throws PG 0.963 1.60 1.57 10.40 10.80 57.72 55.28 1.021 414 Eric Camp C 0.942 1.07 1.44 9.16 11.29 64.11 71.89 0.922 946 Geoff Thao SF 0.787 2.75 1.50 12.66 10.37 39.58 51.42 0.821 1487 Harry G C 0.911 1.54 0.71 12.43 11.96 75.30 -6.30 0.906 2493 Heel Tiger C 1.517 0.00 1.00 5.14 22.29 #DIV/0! #DIV/0! #DIV/0! 15 Ian Boyd 2.0 SG 0.979 0.11 1.85 4.65 13.41 53.02 107.98 0.990 2564 Inur Fason PG 1.014 0.41 0.67 7.82 12.14 81.24 44.76 1.022 578 Jack Oller SG 0.997 2.41 1.63 12.88 10.35 88.96 37.04 1.006 2452 James H.
