Most Improved - Don't expect to be here if I already thought you were very good in 2.0
1. Dump- Dump has improved probably the most from 2.0. Although landing a MVP creation big will tend to lead you in the right direction; he hasn't made rash decisions and fucked up his team. He made a savvy trade with druce Mortgaging his future for Adams in the hopes that he would re up and he did just that. Dump has only really taken one risk so far in 4.0 and it paid off. Perhaps if he took one more he would have a title, but even without one he is the #1 improved Gm from 2.0 imo
2. 2poor- 2poor was a good Gm in 2.0 , but I felt obligated to put in here because of the early dynasty until he got fucked. He got his first title and followed it up with another shortly after. He made good trades in the creation year and it paid off. He got Rick Berry even though he didn't have the best offer (fuck you). He is now in transition but he started it off on the right foot landing Wall.
3.Duc- Duc is on here because of his consistency early. He has the 2nd most wins thusfar in 4.0 , but doesn't have much to show for it yet. His sub .500 mark in the playoffs is worrisome but in part it's because of his limited risk early on. He was known for making moves in 2.0 that didn't ever really pan out and I believe he is trying to stay away from that in 4.0. But, risk = reward. He needs to make some moves to put his team over the hump in the west and unless he does that he will be stuck with a very good team that never really does anything.
4. RV- Rv while being interpreted as "inactive" has the 6th most wins in 4.0. There were a couple years when possible could have contended for a title but things just didn't go his way. He landed Williamson in a FA , but then soon followed that up with Rewarding an Albatross to Paultz. Unfortunately this isn't golf. Fortunately for him someone has now taken on that contract, but the downside is his team is barren and he doesn't have his pick this year. Overall 4.0 has been an improvement for Rv though.
5. RW- I am team RW needs to shut the fuck up, but I must give recognition when it's due. He often makes claims which turn out to be false but at least he will admit when wrong. Rw had some nice pieces left over from Ward, but he's made good moves on his own. Barker from the Bulls, getting rid of dawkins after taking him on from bruns, Collins trade, etc. He has put together a contender this year and it might pan out for him. I have him as #1 in the east going into the year. He has yet to improve as a person and shouter thus far in 4.0 but hopefully that comes.
Most disappointing- expect to be here if I didn't think you were terrible in 2.0
1. Ank- My god what happened. You have been by far the worst and most disappointing Gm in 4.0. Once thought of as a possible "elite" Gm, has now succumbed to the levels only known to Devine. Coat hanger abortions are more successful and less gory than your tenure as the Suns GM. It's possible you are keeping on the tradition that mops left behind, but put it together you Tae-bo ho.
2. Devine- You are here because I honestly didn't think you were bad in 2.0. At least then you gambled and tried to make your team good. Now you are just sitting on your squad dishing out terrible deals in FA , netting you players that you don't even need. I do enjoy your shout rants(probably one of the few) so you have that going for you.
You two are really the only Gm's that I have found to have performed much below your 2.0 level.
Rookie of the year
Tyler- I don't know who you are but of the new Gm's you have been the most successful and lucky. I don't like you as much as the other three new guys, but you have put together much better teams thus far. So congrats.
Still the same
Soup- You are still an elite Gm and your team looks good for the foreseeable future, there has been no drop off in 4.0
Buster- You did some tanking early, and it kind of paid off. You now have a contender in the West and I expect nothing less
Canes- You make some good moves and some terrible moves. Heading in the right direction now. Same Gm imo
Druce- Still a good Gm but finally had some good sim luck winning the title. Congrats
Dirt- See completed Trades
Bruns- Team is old now but had some legit title runs, will get lucky sooner or later
Skrouse- Still bad
Ocho- putting together solid teams that may not look "elite" on paper, but they make runs in the playoffs every year
Ian- still annoys me. Same
