Buying out a player cuts the player from your team at the cost of adding the remainder of said player's contract amount to his current year's salary
Example: Mike Moser PF 28 $6,000,000 $6,000,000 $6,000,000 $0 $0 $0 $0 $18,000,000
Buying Mike Moser out would require you to spend an additional 12 mil (6 mil for the 2nd year and 6 mil for the 3rd year) on top of the 6 mil he is owed this year.
You can buy out any contract as long as it is a minimum of 3 years. You can only use the buyout once every FIVE seasons.
You cannot go over the Hard Cap to buyout a player.
Post the players name and salary who you want to buyout, as well as the current season. For example:
2020 - Mike Moser PF 28 $6,000,000 $6,000,000 $6,000,000 $0 $0 $0 $0 $18,000,000
