If we're going this far you might as well say all players because who really signs guys below 4.5? 1. i do all the time 2. that would mean no trading mle's and lle's or any minimums You don't sign a lle to flip him for assets...that was my point. Your not going to sign a guy for that cheap just to get a free 1st |

If we're going this far you might as well say all players because who really signs guys below 4.5? It would eliminate being able to sign minimum guys to make the $ in trades work. That actually would prevent a lot of trades from happening. People sign FAs during the season just for trade $ all the time. |

Signing FA isnt stealing guys for assets..this rule is for those trying to get something out of nothing not prevent minimum signings

Some GMS would sifb 2 shit guys worth 7.9 just so he could make money work on a deal to get a guy from a tanking tea...so with this rule that is out of the question too. I don't like that.

I'm not swerving. ..i think getting a minimum or lle or mle is not (stealing)..i said do everyone with these not included if you want to change a rule..I'd rather not but that's my opinion. I think 8 mil is a good number

if a team has cap space why would he sign 2 shit free agents making 7.9 just to trade to another team to take on a player? why not just take on the player?

Here's an example of the kind of thing this would eliminate:
FA Day 3-4 after MJ signed magic, he signed Page Savva (shitty tank player) even though he clearly wasn't tanking, to a $5,000,000 deal. he then sent him to Houston before the season even started for Dave Meyers, a much better player.
