1.
Clyde Drexler B C+ C B- B- A (Prediction +4: B B C B+ B- A)
Dump was lucky enough to get the clear cut [HASH]1 player in the draft. Clyde has a solid B Inside and only being 21 gives him the oppurtunity to turn into a deadly wing. Its been years since 1 odds actually recieved first pick so we shouldnt be too shocked here.
2.
Ralph Sampson B+ C- D B+ B+ B ( Prediction +3 A- C- D B+ A- A)
A great trade by the commish lands Ralph Sampson in NYC. Sampson has Neon type starting grades with A potential. A C- outside could mean 70+ jumper or better and that is a plus. After having the ghost of Skrouse plauge the franchise the Knicks fans finally have something to look forward to. With 2 lotto picks this new GM could do some damage in just a few years. With some solid Prospects and money to spend down the road the sky is the limit for this prestige franchise that has been down for the majority of 4.0.
3.
Doc Rivers C+ B- B- B C- A (Prediction +3 B- B B B C- A)
I truly believe The Doc is the 3rd best prospect in the league. He reminds me of a Kenny the Jet Smith or a Kyrie Irving type prospect. I understand Bankz has a young PG but that shouldnt turn him away from such a nice pg prospect like Rivers. A PG is one of the sure things in tmbsl and i think when you have 2 young wings its an obvious choice to go with the top PG in the draft. There were some +6 rookies last season and if Doc catches a spark he could be an instant starter in 2 short seasons.
4.
Dale Ellis B B C- C+ C- B (Prediction +3 B+ B+ D+ B- C B )
I'm a big fan of Dale Ellis and it might be his reputation in 2.0 that causes that. As the commish and creating this guy i just have a fondness for him. Knowing that Odin traded my precious Ben McLemore for him gives me more of a reason why he will have a 90+ potential in this years draft. There have been a few B potential guys that have recieved nice potential so that B shouldnt scare many people away. Also looking at R-duba-U's squad, he has 2 stout bigs with shit wings so its a bit of a no brainer here.
5.
Steve Stipanovich B C- D+ B- B A (Prediction +3 B C- D+ B+ B+ A )
I'm also a pretty big fan of this white man's grades. It's tough for me to like any Big with B- or less but i've seen bigs with B inside jump up more times than not. I don't see Stip having a really high Inside grades as a finished product because lets face it he's white. He reminds me of a Hakeem who could block shots and have a decent fg% having low jumping. I wouldn't complain too much here sitting at [HASH]5 with a pretty solid prospect on your hands. I can see those Walton fans trashing their jerseys and getting this White replacement's jersey ASAP.
6.
Oscar Schmidt B- B C- B- C B ( Predicition +3 B- A- C- B C B)
looking at RVs roster i think this years Oscar has a shot to be a realiable starting wing down the line. The draft is a bit weak after the first 6-7 picks and Oscar has a very similar feel to Kimble just a few seasons ago. He might not blow up but then again with the right TC he could be in a instant play maker in the league. Like i've said a few picks ago if his B pot is really an underground A this could be the steal of the draft. Sometimes i'd rather draft a more polished rookie at B pot than get a C+ type guy with A.
7.
Derek Harper B- C+ B- B+ D+ B ( Prediction +4 B- B- B+ D+ A)
I think Harper is an under-rated prospect in this years draft. If he gets the nod during TC he could easily turn into a stud defender and ball handler instantly. He might need some points into his scoring but that B- inside should make GMs lick their chops if he falls to this spot. If that B- is strength instead of scoring i would maybe even like that better looking at his B+ defense. I can maybe see the new cat going offense with Paxson but looking at the prospects as a whole i think i would take my chances with this guy.
8.
Manute Bol C- D C- A C+ B (Prediction +2 C- D C- A B B)
I think this is a match made in heaven for Ank. I'm not sure how he got this pick but it was just in time for him to grab an automatic starting PF or a great 3rd big on a championship roster. I think any contending team would be drooling drafting drafting Bol and having his 2 mil contract for the next 4 years. C- inside is the best part about this 7 foot wonder and i would trade my soul to get my hands on this guy. A great Big to put next to the BEST big in the league, Cliff Robinson.
9.
Sidney Green B D+ D+ B- B+ B (Prediction +2 B+ D+ D+ B B+ B )
Looking at the draft board and then looking at Bruns roster i have no clue which way he will go. I see him having some young wings, a stud PG, and a small hole at PF. Green is a bit undersized but the grade set is there. Some might be scared of that D+ but if his inside is good enough he could get over that. There are only a few lotto type prospects left and its slim pickins and i think Bruns goes iny Minny Miney Moe or he trades out.
10.
John Paxson C+ B+ C+ C+ D+ B (Prediction +5 C+ A- B C+ D+ A)
Ved has an older exprings PG on his squad and might be going into tank mode sooner rather than later. If he decides to do this Paxson might be the first piece to his rebuilding puzzle. Paxman has a chance to do something reminding me a little bit of Danny Ainge back in 2.0. Paxson having so many C+ grades is a bit of an alarm but he also has that fire beyond the arc. Picking this late into the lotto you can go ahead and go for the prospect that could blow up and become a starter and premier scorer after a few TCs.
11.
Byron Scott B- B C- C+ C- B (Prediction +3 B B C- B C- B)
I think 20s picks BPA and I believe Scott, the player coach is exactly that. He is under-sized but so is Moncrief that not wanting to make money ass mofo..but anyway. Byron is one of the younger players in this draft and if 20s doesn't try to move up I believe he'll take Scott wishing he could have got something a bit better. I wouldn't say he is a bust off the bat but a lot of these players have similar grades and it will just depend on how the software develops which one.
12.
Jeff Malone B- B C C+ C- B (Prediction +1 B- B C B- C- B)
Druce is in a bit of a rebuild mode so West is out of the question. I believe he is playing Johnson at SG and if Malone can develop he could fill that void. I will say Druce will try to trade this for a future or 2 but if he's stuck making a pick I think BPA is Malone even though a lot of folks don't like his size. When you look at the other wings they are pretty much the same so he could luck out and just pick the right guy. I've seen Okafor fall to him so maybe he could get lucky and find another player late in a lotto.
13.
Antoine Carr B- C- D+ B B- A (Prediction +1 B C- D+ A- B- A - +2 at SF )
Dirt finds himself in a tough spot not sure who to go. West looks to be a player now or should he go BPA which i believe is Carr. He is undersized and whoever drafts him hopes he could possibly have the bump in defense. If he doesnt have the Bump he could eat some burgers and with some points and some luck maybe become a MLE type Big. Sometimes Odin throws some pot towards the end of lottos like King and others maybe there is some good fortune going towards some teams at the bottom of the lotto.
