Steve Nash
Position: PG Age: 22 Height: 6'3 Weight: 195 School: Santa Clara C+ B B+ C- D+ B
Nash is probably the best passing PG in the class and he comes with a pro level offensive game as well. He is everything you could ask for and then some on the offensive end of the court. An accomplished jump shooter and proficient FT shooter, Nash will keep defenses honest by knocking down open shots. However, he has a ton of work to do on the defensive end of the floor. He currently is a poor defender and scouts disagree on whether or not he can develop on defense. This makes him an interesting player in the draft because some scouts refuse to draft him due to his defensive deficiencies while others believe he can still develop on that side of the ball and that his great offense more than makes up for his lack of defense. Nash could land almost anywhere in the first round.

PG with a *high* C- def on the edge of C def:
90 quickness 20 steals 25 perimeter defense 65 drive defense 50 strength
that's about the high end of what C- def looks like. Low end u can drop quickness to about 60, perimeter/steals to about 15.
cliffs: give him C def plz.

C- defense is a killer. Wouldn't even be a lotto guy, with those grades if his name wasn't Steve Nash.

Point is that the highest you can go for steals/perimeter def with a C- grade for a PG is at around 20-30, make it any higher and their quickness will need to be in the 50s. You can give Nash 100 potential and he'll still bust at least half the time with C- def even if you bump his other attributes to the highest they can possibly be.

He isn't likely to develop into a great defender. He isn't a good defender. I don't see why you think he is worthless if he isn't a good defender.

All I'm saying is don't give him a grade set in the software that will have like an almost guarantee bust rate for a lotto guy.

Well Nash wasn't a lotto guy irl so if he doesn't go in the lotto I have no problem with that.
