Position: PF Age: 20 Height: 6'9 Weight: 225 School: Cal B+ C- C- B- B- A
Shareef is a fantastic prospect who has impressed with his inside scoring ability and versatility on the defensive end. Scouts differ in which position they believe he will ultimately land at on the next level, but most agree he has the chops to play SF, PF, and C. Most believed he is best suited for the PF role though and he certainly looks like a good prospect there. Shareef only spent one year in college at Cal, but in that year he averaged 22 points per game shooting over 50% from the field. He knocked down the occassional three pointer and has a decent stroke from the line, but that is an area where he could improve. He was more likely to grab a steal than block a shot, but he was capable of both. Above average rebounder with room to grow. |
