Had this all written out and lost it so I'm doing it again just won't put as much time into it.
Mocked the Lotto
Had to switch some things up because we only have 13 teams in the lotto
These were the results, Obviously this entire order can't happen but the premise was to see if someone jumped. And they did. Grats Duc
1. Sixers- No brainer here. Fason goes with Kevin Durant while he won't be able to tank quite as effectively next year , he still can. This will hopefully for him allow him to have a 3 headed monster in 2 years when Robinson comes back. Easy pick.
2.Lakers - Get's a little tougher here but not really. I think buster ends up taking Mike Conley. Conley was amazing in 2.0 and buster has great reputation of developing Pg's. You could go a couple different ways, but this one is simple.
3.Blazers- I think this is where the first big man goes off the board. The blazers got lucky in this lotto and I think Greg Oden and the blazers reunite. It's destiny. Oden has the chance to get up to 290 lb's, but the key is the Jumper coming around.
4.Nuggets- I think everyone knows bankz loves the bulls, and loves Joakim Noah. I think he goes there with this selection. Joakim has a chance to 2.0's Ibaka because every knows you need your Center to get assists.
5.Kings- 20's has some nice players on his roster already. I think at this point it would be between three players. Horford, Hawes, and Green. I have 20's taking Jeff Green in this slot. Everyone knows odin loves G-town and a rebounding SF is a nice thing to have. 20's will pump points into his players so that Outside shot isn't a concern to me.
6.Nets- Nets could go a couple ways. They have no talent on the roster but luckily this is a good draft. I have them taking Al Horford. Al doesn't really have a bad grade , but he's got to have low strength because he's such a bitch.
7.Pacers- They already landed Bossert last year so another hit would be big. I think the easy pick here is Spencer Hawes . He will play well in an outside oriented offense which is big although not critical at the point for the pacer.
8.Pistons- The pistons need to hit on this pick after possibly whiffing last year on the Jet. They need a safe pick but there really aren't any left. I have them taking Yi Jianlian. Grades look good on paper but who knows with Asians. He has a nice jumper but guaranteed low strength .
9.Sonics- The sonics don't have any high upside guys on the roster so I'm thinking Ved sticks with that trend. Arron Afflalo, has a nice Defensive grade and with some points pumped into him could probably develop an offensive game.
10. Bucks (thunder)- I've got some young pieces already. I feel like I'm set here so I'd probably roll the dice on a high Upside player. I'm going with Thad Young in this scenario
11.Sixers(Heat)- The sixers get another pick in this lotto thanks to Canes. Could go high upside here, but I wouldn't want a PG if I was intent on tanking next year. I have them taking Sean Williams. Perfect type of player to match up with Durant and Robinson imo.
12.Pacers (cavs)- Pacers took a big man earlier, this is where I think they gamble on a PG. I'd take Critt, but I have the Pacers taking Rodney Stuckey here both pg's will be gambles. So who knows.
13 .Sonics (raptors)- Sonics have another selection here. They landed Afflalo earlier, so I think they should pair him up with a possible high upside guy. I have Ved taking Nick Young
