The Midwest
Dallas Mavericks - Incomplete
Denver Nuggets – C
Bankz will be walking crooked after getting fucked in the ass this draft, and I’m not even talking about the 20s/Bankz/Hebrew trade fiasco. Nick Young may be the biggest bust in TMBSL history. Crittendon is a nice consolation prize, and likely should have been selected ahead of Busty P. (Nick Young (1.5 - 11), Javaris Crittendon (1.20 - 9), Kyrylo Fesenko (2.2 - 5), Jared Jordan (2.29 - 7))
Houston Rockets - Incomplete
Minnesota Timberwolves – B-
Any other GM would get a D for this pick, but Ian gets the benefit of the doubt (and a generous grade) that he intentionally picked a stinker to help his tank. (Dominic McGuire (2.18 - 7))
Oklahoma City Thunder - Incomplete
Utah Jazz – D
Zzzzzzzzzzz. (Herbert Hill (2.24 - 0), Mustafa Shakur (2.27 - 4))
Kansas City Kings – A-
Although passing on Conley may prove regretful, the reasoning was solid. 20s wants another lottery pick in 2012 and Oden’s not going to disrupt that. The rest of this haul, however, may. Thornton is a day one starter for the Kings, and Neal is the best value in the entire draft. 20s isn’t making the playoffs next year, but don’t be surprised to see him pull out 20+ wins with this talent infusion. (Greg Oden (1.2 - 13), Corey Brewer (1.19 - 10), Marco Bellinelli (1.27 - 8), Al Thornton (2.5 - 9), Reyshawn Terry (2.13 - 7), Gary Neal (2.23 - 9))
The West
Vancouver Grizzlies - Incomplete
Golden State Warriors - Incomplete
Los Angeles Clippers - Incomplete
Los Angeles Lakers – A
Horford is a quality big man. Probably not the best available at this point, but (i) it wasn’t Busty P and (ii) Buster is a prime position for the [HASH]1 odds in the 3012 lottery. (Al Horford (1.4 - 11)
Phoenix Suns – B
Koponen is the type of player that is not exciting, but will play quality minutes and not hurt an already good squad. (Petteri Koponen (1.24 - 7))
Portland Trailblazers – C+
Thoroughly unimpressive, but in a good way. Splitter does well what a big should do, but that’s about it. There were better players available here, but it looks like duc went safe with Splitter. (Tiago Splitter (1.10 - 9))
Seattle Supersonics – A-
Hardly a yawner, this draft haul could be outstanding in 2 or 3 years. Yi and Green are probably the two biggest boom or bust prospects in this draft and could provide two elite starters or two busts. Cook could be a starting wing in the league, and the ageless Baric has an interesting first name. (Jeff Green (1.8 - 10), Yi Jianlian (1.9 - 12), Daequan Cook (1.26 - 9), Stanko Baric (2.8 - 5))
