Looney had a very strong freshman season at UCLA and put himself on the map when it came to scouts looking for lottery prospects. He showed great rebounding ability, averaging 10.3 per game for the Bruins. He was a good, not great scorer but he showed the ability to score in a variety of ways. He can step out and shoot from midrange and even knocks down the occasional three pointer. Looney should continue to grow and that is a good thing if he wants to play the PF spot at the next level as he currently is not the biggest guy on the block. Overall, he is a really good prospect and should come off the board sometime in the lottery.
