Mateen Cleaves
Position: PG Age: 23 Height: 6'2 Weight: 205 School: Michigan State C C+ B+ B- D C
Mateen Cleaves was one of college basketball's biggest stars, but scouts question if that will translate to the next level. His biggest strengths are intangibles such as his leadership, toughness, and effort. Even in college, he was not a great shooter and could have problems scoring against better defenders. He was an elite passer and ball handler at the college level and those skills should translate right to the next level. He is above average defensively, but his physical traits might limit his ability to improve. Overall, Cleaves is going to be a guy who can run your offense and play some defense, the x factor here is how much he improves.

One of my favorite college players ever. Those grades are rough, though.
