Lamond Murray was Jason Kidd's running mate at Cal. Murray is a pretty polished inside scorer who can muscle around a lot of 3s and get to the basket to finish. His outside shot isn't bad, and he'll knock down open shots. His last year at Cal, Murray took quite a few threes so as a scoring option expect him to put up a lot of shots. Defensively Murray is a bit above average, again because of his strength, but he's not the quickest guy in the world and he'll struggle against better athletes. He's lazy on the boards and won't be much of a factor rebounding as a pro. He doesn't have the highest ceiling, but his floor is a decent rotational player so he doesn't figure to be a bust either.
