team public. being in the dark of depth charts and seeing what works and doesn't it stupid imo. takes away a lot of discussion. dont see why it should be some big secret.

There is dc discussion, not much but some. It's fun to look at people's dc's imo

DC settings has changed the outcome of exactly 1 playoff series that I've commished, and that mostly was a fluke.

You've seen probably 2-3 articles on that.....from when the league began. And no, nba dcs aren't private, but they also don't go handing out one sheets on who is playing when and at which positions, what pace youre playing, defensive philosophies, and offensive philosophies.

Again, this is something I don't care about. No hidden DCs means less work for me.

Keep them public IMO. Helps people spot when tankers are trying shit they shouldn't which also means less work for the commissioner. Playoffs are a different story. That said, it's obviously up to Odin and I don't care a whole hell of a lot either way.

That said, changing DC settings has definitely made a difference more than just that one time, just maybe not that drastic. Really hard to tell either way, but I think they play more of a factor than what you're saying.

That's what I'm saying. It definitely matters we just have no way of telling how much. Obviously with the software things are going to be a bit different each time, but I still like to the think there's at least some sort of method to the madness.

if no one understands it, leaving it public does no one any harm/good.
no reason at all to keep DCs private, I know for a fact I almost never bothered to check DCs to see if someone was pulling something that was a bit less obvious like having the 3rd best big play most of the backup minutes.
Having mods/regular gms policing themselves in DC is a good thing, also beneficial to trading. If for example I have a good 3 point shooter, I know i can unload him to dbl pretty easily based on how he likes to run an offense.
