Position: PF/C Age: 20 Height: 6'10 Weight: 225 School: Maryland B+ C- C- B B ASmith was a dominant force in his two seasons at Maryland, leading the Terrapins while averaging over 20 and 10 both seasons. After proving himself on the collegiate level, Smith is ready for the pros. He has a nice arsenal of moves in the post that makes him hard to stop even when the opposition knows what is coming. His defense is excellent - no doubt helped by his superior athleticism. Smith is viewed by most as the most sure thing in the draft. He is nearly just as talented as a guy like Kevin Garnett, but less risky as most scouts see no way he isn't at least an above average big man from day one. |
