TMBSL 3002 TOP TEN
BIG BOARD
#1. Grant Hill
Age: 21
Height: 6'8''
Weight: 225
Position: SF
School: Duke
B B- B- B C+ A
Grant Hill is by far the most complete and talented player in this years draft. He should go without a doubt #1 overall. He can very easily develop into a stud PG if he has a couple solid TCs and a few points into his Passing. The winner of this years Lotto will be glad to post Mr. Hill as soon as the thread is unlocked.
#2. Donyell Marshall
Age: 21
Height: 6'9''
Weight: 218
Position: SF
School: UConn
B C C+ B B- A
Donyell started his acting career on the Wire and also has some sneaky elite starting grades. I really love his Charles Barkley type Inside and Outside Scoring looks to me he can turn into a player similar to Big Chuck. Personally if his Inside develops and his Outside doesn't I would gladly change him to PF and let him become a McAdoo type big. It fits him that he is coming into the league this early with similar PFs size and strength.
#3. Glenn Robinson
Age: 21
Height: 6'7''
Weight: 225
Position: SF
School: Purdue
B+ B- C C B- B
Glenn Robinson looks to be the best pick when you look beyond Marshall and Hill. His Defense is a bit scary with only B Potential but you can't over look the important scoring grades he holds. Looks to be a bit better than last years 1.3 and should be good enough to start for a contender before his Rookie contract is up. The league lacks SF's at the moment so I can see a GM jump all over Big Dawg without a single complaint.
#4. Juwan Howard
Age: 21
Height: 6'9''
Weight: 240
Position: PF
School: Michigan
B C- C- B C+ A
This draft has an abundant amount of great bigs but Jumanji looks to be one of the top ones in this years draft. Boasting a Solid Inside and Defense he could easily be the best player when its all said and done. Depending on his 1st TC he can turn into a A- Inside Scorer very quickly. He has solid size and putting another 20lbs helps him even more. He lacks the B+ Rebounding Greenwood has last year but at 1.4 there could be less talent available.
#5. Jalen Rose
Age: 21
Height: 6'8''
Weight: 210
Position: PG/SF
School: Michigan
B- C+ B- B C A
Jalen could go higher than 5 depending on team needs. Technically he can play 3 positions but the GM who drafts this guy will pray he can play the point. The Michigan Alumni should have a solid career wherever he plays in tmbsl. When you have a player at 6'8 and handle the rock like he does...you have to take him.
#6. Neon Boudeaux
Age: 19
Height: 6'11
Weight: 269
Position: C
School: Western University
B+ C- C- B+ B+ C
Neon is maybe one of the most under-rated prospects we've had. At only 19 and a rookie he could start at Center for over 75% of the league. Even if he has low Potential he can still be a starter for the next 5 years or so. He can be a cheaper and better player than most right out of the gate and that's a solid quality with the amount of money being thrown around this early in free agency. Just imagine the possibilities even if he +2 his entire career.
#7. Jason Kidd
Age: 21
Height: 6'4''
Weight: 205
Position: PG
School: Cal
C+ C A- B+ C- A
Jason Kidd is the best true distributer in this years draft. His Outside is a bit suspect but his Handles and Defense should make up for it. The Software plays favorites at times and can take a PG a lot further along than a Big Man. By that I mean really improve him for a longer period of time in his career. He shouldn't be a top 5 pick but he can be a solid pick for someone who needs a PG and doesn't need a SF/PF at the moment.
#8. Sharone Wright
Age: 21
Height: 6'11''
Weight: 260
Position: PF/C
School: Clemson
B- D+ D B B- A
Wright looks to one of the better defending Big Men in this years draft. His D+ is a bit alarming but in a Inside Focus game plan he could end up being a solid starting Center. With a little help from the software he could end up being an Inside threat but should always be the back bone of a defense in tmbsl. I've seen B- turn into A- so don't give up on his Inside Game before his first couple of Training Camps.
#9. Lamond Murray
Age: 21
Height: 6'7''
Weight: 236
Position: SF
School: Cal
B C+ C C+ C- B
Lamond Murray was another SF who decided to go into this years NBA Draft. He doesn't have the polish the other SFs have but his B Inside Scoring is worthy of a top ten pick. Sometimes players with B potential get the nod in Training Camp and become a dam good player. Chalky was B Pot , Dougie was B Pot in 2.0, so sometimes its worth biting the bullet and testing your luck when you have a middle lotto pick.
#10. Eddie Jones
Age: 22
Height: 6'6''
Weight: 190
Position: SG
School: Temple
C+ B- C+ B+ C- B
The Shooting Guard position is a little thin in this years draft. Jones already has above average defense and a decent Outside Shot but that B Potential raises eyebrows. He's a bit of a wildcard only being good at one thing. If his Jumper doesn't Improve he will only be a LLE type player that went mid to late lotto. If he decides to impress after a few years he could end up a steal this late in the lotto.
