On the heels of the conference stack rankings comes the head to head rankings. The West takes this 8-4 with 3 ties. The East could easily swing a few their way in the coming years so this should be interesting moving forward.
1's
Trofie vs. Dilworth
As much as I like Trof, I’ve gotta give the nod to Dil here. The 3 titles is really the icing on the cake. Both teams are a model of consistency and are undeniably among the top 5 franchises in league history. Historically speaking the Rockets hold the edge by about 30 winning percentage points, and also beat the Bucks on playoff appearances and winning percentage.
2's
Fason vs. 20s
This one I think is closer than people would think on the surface. Both of these guys have a title, and Fason has been to the finals once more than 20s. Still, Fason spent a long time tanking while 20s was able to resurrect the Kings from the ashes like a phoenix. All time win percentage gives the edge to the Kings, and that’s even including the inept gm-ing of previous leaders. That said, I give 20s the nod.
3's
Bruns vs. Druce
The Grizzlies and Bulls are neck and neck in the historical standings, with the Bulls having more playoff wins, while the Couv gets the edge in reg season winning percentage as well as playoff appearances and Titles. Had Bruns been able to win a title in either of his Finals appearances it would make this one closer in my opinion, but I give myself the edge here.
4's
Heebs vs. Ank
While Heebs has done a very good job since taking over in Brooklyn, Ank is a hard challenge for him to over come. Resume wise the Suns hold a distinct advantage with a finals appearance as well as a better winning percentage. Ank has also had a few teams that have been worthy of a title, while in my opinion the Nets have always been missing a piece or two. Ank takes this matchup.
5's
Pete vs. 2poor
For this matchup it comes down to entire body of work, rather than what have you done for me lately. The Raptors of course are a season removed from a championship and have a solid team, while the Jazz have been very quiet of late. However, the Jazz have also been to the finals three times, winning two championships in the process. Even though 2poor went awol for a good bit, I’m still giving him the nod because of that. It would have taken a much more significant advantage in winning percentage to over come the title deficit.
6's
Dump vs. Dirt
There really isn’t a category where the Clippers historically stack up to the Celtics aside from them being even in the title count. Dump has done a really good job consistently winning and that shows in every other category. He’s made sound moves and though he’s tanking now, he’s had quite the track record in 4.0. Edge to Dump.
7's
KN vs. Buster
At the time of me writing this, Kn and Buster are one game different in wins and losses. After 1494 games they are one apart. Neither really differentiates themselves with playoff performance either. Obviously by the end of the season Kn will pull well ahead of Buster in reg. season standings, but at this time I’d say this matchup is too close to call. Tie ball game.

Rv vs. Ian
The Hornets have a finals appearance. The t-wolves are much better as far as overall record and playoff appearances. All things considered, even though the T-Wolves have been renowned playoff chokers, I give the nod to Ian. Rv can go a long way to changing that with a deep run this season, but consistency hasn’t been his friend while Ian’s teams seem to win year in and year out.
9's
MJ vs. Bankz
The Nuggets and the Magicians. This matchup is pretty slanted towards MJ, considering historical performance. The Bankz Tank effectively takes Bankz out of the running on this one, as MJ has a ring and a much better overall record.
10's
Canes vs. Ocho
Both of these guys must like Drake, because they started from the bottom now they’re kinda here. They’ve both built pretty decent contenders at the moment, but history indicates that these teams have been pretty shitty. Ocho has the misfortune of having Devine to blame for a lot of the Warriors bad history, but it took him a while to right the ship. Honestly I think these two are a coin flip, so I’m going to go with a tie, with whomever goes further in the playoffs this year getting the nod.
11's
HT vs. Duc
HT had a lot of early success in the league ,while Duc is coming on in the recent years. The Blazers have a better overall record but the Cavs have been to the finals 3 times, winning it all once. The strength of the early Cavs teams gives HT the edge in this matchup for me.
12's
Odin vs. GBG
Both of these guys don’t have a lot of games under their belt with Odin being commish and GBG taking over for the current commish. Honestly this one is too early to call, though I’d give GBG a slight edge simply because of the sound moves he’s made despite his lack of experience.
13's
Logo vs. Yawn
I think yawn is the perfect word for this matchup. I like both these guys, but they’re seldom heard from. I’ll give the edge to yawn here, because JW was handed the keys to a benz when he took over the pacers, and he traded it in for a couple of chevys.
14's
Eric vs. Victor
Eric takes this matchup just because I enjoy what he brings in the form of articles. Neither has really done anything to set themselves apart from the other, though Vic taking Savage is looking like a really smart move.
15's
RW vs. No one
Originally I thought no one would win this one, but after giving it much thought (read 10 seconds) I’ve decided it’s a push. RW puts in effort on his podcast. Blah. Whatever.
