Welcome back to the power rankings guys. I haven't looked at records, so this is still solely off of what I think of your rosters as I look at them. We've had a lot of movement from last season. Let's dive in shall we?
1. The Oklahoma City Thunder- I'm so bored of this team. We get it man, you have the best player and best defensive player in the league.
Yes that's right. Fiona tier is currently one team long. Anything other than an OKC threepeat would be completely shocking to me. I hate everything.
2. The Philadelphia 76ers- Chuck is gone, but I honestly don't know how impactful he is anymore. This is a deeper team than Fason has rolled out in a while, but the top end talent with Conley, Pettit and Admiral is still crazy good.
3. The Kansas City Kings- 20s showed us all how to flip assets over the last season. This kind of GMing is why we aren't going to see a Kings tank any time soon, and those Kings picks you're sitting on are worthless. Turner and Lance is right up there with the best inside outside combos in the league, and he has depth for days.
4. The Phoenix Suns- Ank has gone straight moneyball with his roster this season, as he has gotten as many shot blockers who hate shooting as possible. The Ombiguously Gay duo will be shooting more than ever, as no one else on this team wants to. I think that's a winning strategy.
5. The Brooklyn Nets- I'm actually pretty bullish on the JO into Tobi and Furry sequence for Herb. I don't think there will be a big dip in production, and he has an elite level prospect that he can groom into his next superstar.
6. The Washington Bullets- Things are starting to get pretty creaky here, but I think this is still a very fearsome starting 5. This could be kn's last ride with this crew.
7. The Utah Jazz- I wouldn't put my team this high, but everyone on the pod seemed to put them around here, and who am I to argue with those dudes?
8. The Milwaukee Bucks- Did you guys realize both Buds and Blair are free agents this year? trofie is gonna have his butthole puckered tight all season long as those two lead this squad to a boatload of wins.
9. The Chicago Bulls- I might miss by a lot here, but I fucking love the starting 5 bruns has assembled. He has 2 unquestionable superstars as his bigs, and you could tell me Harrison and Dutch are stars too and I wouldn't argue with you. I'm an enormous fan of this team.
10. The Los Angeles Lakers- Looking at this team, I would say Buster has definitely gotten on track. This team looks built for the long haul, and if you give it another year it could be a legit title contender. Anytime you have a top 3 player in the league, you're gonna have a good time.
11. The Charlotte Hornets- If anyone else were running this team, they'd be higher. But with rv appearing to go on a vision quest, this still talented team is going to flounder.
12. The Portland Trailblazers- People should talk about Curry the way they talk about Kristaps or Harrison. Guy's a monster. I think King and Yi both represent upgrades to the frontcourt spots, obtained at very reasonable prices too.
13. The Miami Heat- Selvy threw himself into the conversation of best SG in the league last year. I have a hard time putting anyone else in the starting 5 above "pretty good" though. That's gonna hold canes back.
14. The Atlanta Hawks- Despite getting, in my opinion, taken for a ride in most of his trades this offseason, I kinda like the final look of this hawks roster. Thabeodor Ethan shouldn't see the floor with all the new depth in the frontcourt, and starting 4 guys who would be #2-#3 options on great teams should lead to a lot of regular season (but no postseason) wins.
15. The Golden State Warriors- I feel like ocho's gonna have to take a hard look in the mirror this season. He's got a shitload of dudes that look desirable to me in trades, but this team hasn't really coalesced into anything great in a few years.
16. The Toronto Raptors- Well, that rebuild didn't take long. Pete has a lot of young talent to develop, but he also has a star in Tex. Not sure what I think about the Chuck signing, since he really doesn't fit with this team's timeline, but that's a pretty minor quibble for a team that's clearly headed back towards the top.
17. The San Antonio Spurs- I wanted to put this team higher, because Savage and Gay together could mean a bunch of wins this year, and Chambers and Finley can still be actual things too. Ultimately, I think this team just needs a little more seasoning, but there's a stew goin here.
18. The New York Knicks- I mean, I could be way wrong here. There's a lot of talent here. But some habits are hard to break, and I just can't move eric out of Lemmy tier yet.
19. The Orlando Magic- By the end of this season, we may be thanking GBG for picking Shareef instead of Buck. Buck is a monster. I don't really love anything else here though, except for Mudiay, and he has to share a spot with Delon Wright's contract.
20. The Seattle Supersonics- Look at this roster. Can you even imagine how good it could be if yawn cared? I want to trade for like half of the players on this team.
21. The Memphis Bobcats- Odin seems to kind of live in this region. Pretty nice young core here though. Not a lot of teams in hopeless positions these days.
22. The Boston Celtics- Oh right. Forget what I just said. Dump has officially decided to stop trying.
23. The Cleveland Cavaliers- Iverson and Fazekas are a fun combo, but what the hell is heel doing here? There's no real direction and KG is smelly garbage.
24. The Denver Nuggets- the nightmare is nearly over, there's now light at the end of the tunnel. At least Stack gives banks something to feel good about.
25. The Couv- I expect this to be druce's last year down here. Reeves is like white Blair, and Tyrus looks like he's going to be pretty damn good too.
26. The Minnesota Timberwolves- This is the one roster I didn't click on. Come back Ian, you miserable wing sucking bastard.
27. The Los Angeles Clippers- It's very sad to me to see the Clippers back down here. That giant lineup dirt won a title with was so fun to see. If heel paid attention to this league at all, he'd be playing Fazekas at SG.
28. The Houston Rockets- It's weird seeing dil all the way down here. I kinda hate Noe and that's the only real ready to go player he has right now, though.
29. The Indiana Pacers- I pray to god that Jerry gets invested in this core. Because if he does, holy schnikes do LMA and Sheed scare me. DO THE RIGHT THING JERRY, DEVELOP THESE GUYS
