10. Priest Lauderdale C 31 7'4'' 330 B- D- C+ A A- B
24.3 5.2 8.4 1.4 0.6 2.7 1.3 .406 .538 .000
I like Priest a lot. Pete has made a habit of giving him large one year deals after days 1-2 so it wouldn't be that hard to sneak in an swipe him away. Priest has always been a really solid defensive big.
9. Karl-Anthony Towns C 26 7'1'' 273 B+ C- D+ A- B C
30.0 13.1 9.5 1.0 0.8 3.9 1.2 .469 .848 .000
KAT is having a great season. I don't know if he can be a starter on a contending team but he'd be a great third big.
8. Jordan Hill C 25 6'10'' 240 A- C- C- B+ A- B
25.9 9.4 10.2 1.6 0.5 2.2 0.6 .368 .755 .000
Woof at that FG%. Luckily he usually shoots around 44% so he's probably just having a bad season due to the locker room changes. Hill, once a late 1st rd pick to the Houston Rockets, has turned himself into a pretty nice looking post player.
7. Jason Collier C 29 7'0'' 265 B+ C C A- A C
32.1 12.6 12.8 1.6 0.9 0.7 0.9 .402 .940 .000
Collier is another guy who is having an unusually rough year. Must be a management issue. Collier had a great run in Phoenix that earned ank a hefty ransom to give up his services. Collier has yet to live up to that ransom.
6. Cliff Alexander C 26 6'10'' 264 A- C- D- B+ A- C
33.7 20.7 11.1 1.3 1.6 0.8 1.7 .507 .717 .000
So Dirt moves a post player to SF and he puts up the best numbers of his career? What's for lunch? ha ha
5. Greg Oden C 29 7'0'' 290 B C- C- A A- C
33.0 18.1 12.2 1.4 0.5 3.5 1.0 .445 .712 .000
Oden hasn't quite lived up to his max contract imo but he's still really good. I'm interested to see how Buster's team plays with Oden as an anchor. I would be very surprised if he gets 2nd max type of numbers on his next contract.
4. Hasheem Thabeet C 25 7'3'' 273 B C- C- A A B
16.0 6.0 6.2 0.6 0.4 2.1 0.6 .417 .621 .000
Thabeet has been the butt of many shout jokes within the past four sim seasons but he's actually a really good third big imo. That FG% should definitely keep him out of any starting lineup but I love the blocks and rebounds.
3. Kevin Durant PF 28 6'10'' 245 B- A C A- B+ D
39.1 26.0 11.2 2.0 0.8 2.0 2.6 .457 .928 .440
Here comes the big three. Durant is finally getting the attention he deserves but he still needs pieces around him. Will bruns beef up the roster around him or will KD choose to try for a title run elsewhere.
2. Blake Griffin PF 23 6'10'' 271 A+ C- C B A+ B
35.7 28.2 13.9 1.7 0.6 0.5 1.5 .475 .737 .000
Just an incredible looking specimen. A+ inside and rebounding? Yes please. Blake is an animal, nay a cannibal. FULL MAX
1. DeJuan Blair PF 23 6'7'' 305 B+ C D A A- B
39.6 25.6 13.3 1.0 1.0 3.7 1.6 .429 .878 .000
I'm not worried at all about his low FG% this season. Did you know that Blair is over 80 in every category? Incredible.
Wings
10. Lex Drum SG 33 6'4'' 178 B A B- B C C
21.4 11.3 3.7 2.0 1.1 0.0 1.8 .494 .903 .488
Such a consistent player. He's pretty old so I can't see him getting a big contract but he would be an excellent fit for any team really.
9. Yi Jianlian SF 29 7'0'' 253 B+ C D+ A- A- D
36.3 13.8 10.0 1.4 1.0 1.8 1.6 .499 .790 .000
The move to SF has saved Yi's career. He's not going to be a major scoring option but he's going to be very efficient and grab you 10 rebounds. That D potential is a little worrisome but that has no negative effect in many cases.
8. Pee Wee Kirkland SG 32 6'1'' 190 B+ A C- B- C+ C
37.9 25.1 7.7 2.2 1.1 0.2 3.0 .500 .954 .390
Pee Wee would be a lot higher on this list if he wasn't going to be 33 this offseason. He has never gotten the respect that he deserves imo. There are rumors that he wants to return to the city that drafted him.
7. Wesley Matthews SG 26 6'5'' 214 B A- C- B- C C
29.4 19.8 4.5 2.6 1.4 0.4 1.4 .477 .807 .309
Wes had a very promising looking future but it has definitely plateaued in recent seasons. He can score the rock but that defense is just not up to snuff and he doesn't give you much else in terms of rebounds, assists, steals.
6. RJ Hunter SG 28 6'5'' 180 B+ A- C C+ C+ C
34.0 20.0 6.2 3.3 1.2 0.1 1.0 .474 .897 .385
RJ is very similar to Wes but he's a little "sexier" to me. He's a crucial part to the rejuvenation of the Orlando Magic and he's earned himself a good contract this offseason.
5. James Harden SG 23 6'5'' 230 B A- B B C B
26.2 13.2 5.4 2.7 1.4 0.3 1.5 .420 .928 .239
I still have hope in James. He might just need a change of scenery and a few more points into. Could be completely wrong though. Who knows. I have no idea what type of contract he'll get.
4. Patrick Douglas SG 23 6'5'' 212 B+ A- C B+ C- B
19.9 4.7 2.6 2.5 0.4 2.8 .406 .756 .298
Here's another mystery. His percentages blow but his grades are great, the software seems to like him, and he has all of his SC's and RC's left. I hope no one maxes him though because that could be a huge mistake.
3. DeMar DeRozan SG 23 6'7'' 220 B+ B+ C+ A- C B
37.5 20.2 6.5 2.4 1.1 0.6 0.8 .454 .880 .387
Demar has developed really nicely. He's a very balanced player that could fit into any system. He's not a max player but he'll get something close to it I'm sure.
2. Gary Bossert SG 33 6'4'' 195 B A C- B C C
40.2 38.0 7.8 2.0 2.1 1.6 1.3 .477 .833 .475
Are these numbers a joke? A 33 yr old with B A scoring is putting up 38 PPG? Ridiculous.
1. Chase Budinger SF 24 6'7'' 209 A- B C B+ C+ B
40.5 23.2 8.2 2.2 1.6 0.4 1.8 .459 .814 .385
The prize of the FA wings imo. He's having a great season, not as good as last year, but still a clear max player. Trofie really fell into two superstars in Bud and Blair.
Point Guards
10. Sedale Threatt PG 33 6'2'' 175 B+ B A- B+ C- D
18.0 11.5 2.5 3.8 1.3 0.2 1.7 .489 .921 .333
Sedale shouldn't be a starter on a contending team anymore but that doesn't mean he can't be the #10 PG on my FA Preview. Solid player right here.
9. Gary Payton PG 34 6'4'' 190 B- B A- B+ C D
35.7 18.4 5.2 9.8 2.2 0.1 2.2 .463 .921 .400
GP spent all of his prime years as a backup in the Phoenix farmhouse so we don't really know what he could have been. I'm so pissed at ank.
8. Andrew Harrison PG 27 6'5'' 207 C A B+ B C C
40.5 19.1 7.3 3.8 2.6 0.3 1.5 .461 .950 .381
A great example of a tweener here. He scores great at PG but his handles aren't quite good enough. Stick him at SG and he can't score nearly as well. I dealt with this headache and I don't want to again.
7. Moochie Norris PG 31 6'4'' 180 B+ A- A+ A- D+ C
38.7 24.1 4.0 10.4 2.0 0.3 1.5 .425 .872 .422
Where did this guy come from?
6. Gerald Nappy PG 26 5'11'' 198 B- A- A- A- C- B
37.8 20.2 4.3 9.8 1.9 0.1 3.3 .419 .943 .315
Nappy has had a few good TC's recently and his numbers have definitely increased but he still turns the ball over way too much and has a pretty bad FG%. I could still see him being a pretty good player though.
5. Scoonie Murray PG 27 6'0'' 171 C+ B A+ A C- C
37.2 12.6 3.5 12.2 1.8 0.2 1.7 .418 .926 .435
I love Scoonie. He's arguably the best passer and defender at the PG position. He's had the best non-rookie contract in the league over the past few years. He still has two SC's and one RC left so hopefully the GM that signs him will pump points into his scoring.
4. Ty Lawson PG 25 5'11'' 195 B- A- B- A- C- B
38.9 34.1 4.5 8.9 2.1 0.1 1.8 .438 .929 .417
Wow at these numbers. Lawson's 34 PPG have caught the league by surprise but the most surprising thing is his 9 assists to 2 TO's with B- handles. Definitely a max player.
3. Brandon Jennings PG 23 6'1'' 169 B- B+ A B+ C- B
36.5 25.0 5.9 9.9 2.3 0.1 2.2 .443 .772 .345
What a great surprise for canes. Jennings is a beast. He definitely outperforms his grades. He can still have a few points pumped into him and should be maxed this offseason.
2. Mike Conley PG 29 6'1'' 200 A- A- A+ A- C- C
36.2 26.5 3.1 11.0 1.9 0.1 2.1 .509 .951 .402
Finally Conley is available to the league. He's applying to be a member of the 50/40/90 club this season and I like his chances. Fason will surely do everything he can to retain Mike's services. Grit grind.
1. Stephen Curry PG 24 6'3'' 185 C+ A A- A- D+ B
38.0 28.9 3.8 9.1 2.4 0.0 1.4 .491 .935 .442
Possibly the next player to apply for the 50/40/90 club. Steph is a bonerfide beast. He will certainly be maxed by everyone who has the space. Duc will go in a tailspin if he loses his Curry/Allen combo.
