Thomas is a tweener who lacks the size to play the 2 guard spot, and doesn't have the passing ability to play the point. It'll be interesting to see where he settles in on a roster. He has the ability to be a really good scorer, the problem is finding minutes for him and not sacrificing either turn overs or defense. He can certainly guard other point guards, but larger 2 guards will give him a lot of trouble. He's very quick, and like most Notre Dame products can shoot the ball from wherever you'd like, there are just a lot of question marks outside of that. If he can learn to pass he could turn into a top tier point guard, or he could fizzle out without a position.
