Cota is a floor general and a prototypical pass first point guard. He sees the floor well and has the potential to lead the league in assists. He doesn't turn it over much and takes care of the ball. Scoring however isn't Cota's strong suit. He has decent range and is ok from the free throw line, but he doesn't shoot a whole lot. Any time he drives he's looking to pass, so don't ever expect much scoring out of Ed. Defensively he'll struggle against stronger players, but is decently quick and will get his share of steals. Also an above average rebounder at the PG position.
