We tried a new experiment this year with no more Very Fast pace. Here's how the league points per possesion, pace, and points per game look over this season and the last four:

Clearly the experiment works. Efficiency has stayed pretty much the same or even gone slightly up, we have had more overtimes as would be expected but the main effect driving down points per game is pace.

PG: 1, 4, 5 (Isiah isn't even the best PG in the Central, Quince Curry would be a disgusting dish but they were both robbed)
SG: 1, 12, 7 (major snub of Q-Rich at #2, this will be a recurring theme)
SF: 2, x, 1 (Aguirre would be #4 of SF)
PF: 1, 3, 4 (major snub of Shareef at #2)
C_: 24, x, x (Big Country would be #2 and Big Nigeria #5, major snub of Vlade at #1)
Harrison is the deserved MVP, and surprisingly would be the only PG in the top 5.

The Clegane first team is the second worst thing I or anyone else has ever seen. (The worst, of course, is the source material from which he was drawn, boom, roasted.) It was a historically weak year for centers and the Thunder continue to break math, but still. Deplorable.
