Dil's 3019 ReDraft
1. Jerry Stackhouse SG 24 6'6'' 223 B+ A- C A- C B (+8)
39.1 | 26.1 | 6.2 | 2.8 | 1.2 | 0.1 | 2.1 | .463 | .892 | .443
(Originally 1.3) Jerry Stackhouse SG 6'6'' 218 21 B B- C C+ C A
Stackhouse had a slow start to his career. He received more headlines for the blockbuster trade that sent Juan Keaney to ATL than for anything he did on the court. Jerry has really turned it around in the past two seasons and looks to be a superstar in the making. Hopefully he can keep those TO's down.
2. Bryant Reeves C 25 6'10'' 290 A- C D A- B B (+4)
29.5 | 21.7 | 8.5 | 2.1 | 0.3 | 1.6 | 1.0 | .429 | .742 | .000
(1.5) Bryant Reeves C 6'10'' 275 22 A- C- D+ B- B B
Soup said he would beast Reeves and he did. Reeves is a scoring machine. He's had a slow start to this season but that is a fluke. I'm sure druce wishes he would rebound a little more but he's paired up with Thabeet who grabs enough for both of them. If druce can find a third big that grabs buku boards then he won't have to worry about Reeves's rebounding anymore.
3. Joe Smith C 23 6'10'' 245 A- C C- A A- B (+7)
35.8 | 24.2 | 12.3 | 1.7 | 1.0 | 2.6 | 1.7 | .421 | .766 | .000
(1.2) Joe Smith PF 6'10'' 225 20 B+ C- C- B B A
Big Joe has really turned it on this season. He has steadily increased in every TC and now his stats are showing it. He really has no weakness outside of his FG% right now. We've seen a lot of times that FG% increases with age which I think will happen in Smith's case. Joe could be an All-Star this year if he keeps it up.
4. Damon Stoudamire PG 25 5'10'' 176 C+ A A+ B D+ C (+9)
38.5 | 24.4 | 4.2 | 11.2 | 1.7 | 0.4 | 1.8 | .428 | .842 | .403
(1.6) Damon Stoudamire PG 5'10'' 171 22 C+ B B C+ D+ B
Buster snagged the two best PGs in the draft and traded away the slightly worse one. Stoudamire has elite scoring and handling grades for a PG and his defense isn't a big liability. Damon was really the only PG prospect in this draft so no surprise that he didn't bust. I have Stoudamire ahead of Best due to his slightly better steals, TO's, and scoring.
5. Travis Best PG 26 5'11'' 182 B+ B A B+ C- C (+9)
37.3 | 20.6 | 3.8 | 12.1 | 1.0 | 0.2 | 2.5 | .455 | .851 | .493
(1.20) Travis Best PG 5'11'' 182 23 B- B- B- C+ D+ C
Classic Buster pick. Best boomed in his first TC and was traded to Toronto as part of the Kristaps deal. Since then he has a bit of an up and down ride. He slipped last season, only averaging 14 PPG, but he seems to be on fire this year. Hopefully he can keep that up.
6. Corliss Williamson SF 25 6'7'' 245 A- C D+ B- B C (+3)
30.6 | 18.0 | 7.8 | 0.9 | 0.5 | 0.6 | 1.3 | .480 | .832 | .000
(1.14) Corliss Williamson SF 6'7'' 245 22 B+ C- C- C+ B- B
Corliss has been a FG% wizard since day one. I would love to get a screenshot of rookie Corliss from soup to see how he was created. Unfortunately, his defense has never really increased, otherwise he would be a very hot commodity. Corliss is a really solid player that will always benefit whichever team he is on. Classic Buster draft.
7. Kevin Garnett C 22 7'0'' 245 A- C C+ A- A A (+8)
38.1 | 21.1 | 12.7 | 5.0 | 1.3 | 1.8 | 3.1 | .368 | .730 | .000
(1.1) Kevin Garnett PF 6'11'' 220 19 B+ C- C B B A
What a mystery. KG's grades are unbelievable. Elite tier grades. Possibly the best passing big man we have seen since Bill Walton. Yet he is plagued with 3+ TOs per game (as a Center?!?) and 37% FG. I don't know if he should even be on the court right now. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if his potential is still 90+ based on how strongly he has developed in certain areas so far. If his TO's decrease, his FG% increases, and he gets the +24 points he needs, he could be the best big man in the league considering his skill set.
8. Kurt Thomas C 26 6'9'' 230 B+ C- C A- A- C (+6)
35.7 | 15.0 | 13.3 | 2.4 | 0.3 | 2.8 | 1.2 | .439 | .748 | .000
(1.10) Kurt Thomas PF 6'9'' 230 23 B+ C- C- B- B C
This was a very good pick for dump. Kurt has turned into a very solid player. His FG% has consistently been pretty low but he is solid everywhere else. Decent scoring, good rebounding, good blocks, very little turnovers, and a good jumper. I like Kurt.
9. Nicklaus Templeton PG 25 6'1'' 171 C+ A B+ B C- C (+7)
9.2 | 6.4 | 1.1 | 2.0 | 0.6 | 0.0 | 0.4 | .526 | 1.000 | .429
(1.29) Nicklaus Templeton PG 6'1'' 171 22 C+ B+ C B- C- A
25.6 PPG 8.0 APG 2.4 SPG 1.6 TPG <-------- Templeton's stats per 36. That's all I'll say.
10. Marc Najera C 22 7'2'' 235 C D+ C A A- B (+8)
33.2 | 4.4 | 12.3 | 1.6 | 0.5 | 2.7 | 1.6 | .292 | .647 | .000
(2.11) Marc Najera C 7'1'' 230 19 C C- C- B- C+ A
Najera burst onto the scene with a huge rookie TC and has steadily increased since then. Najera might be the most specialized player in the league. 4.4 PPG at 29% FG as a starter speaks for itself. Marc won't win anyone any games but he will play his role as good as anyone in the league.
11. Pete Holzman PF 25 6'9'' 222 B C+ C A C+ B (+7)
14.5 | 3.9 | 3.2 | 0.8 | 0.3 | 0.7 | 0.6 | .379 | .655 | .000
(2.12) Pete Holzman PF 6'9'' 222 22 C+ C C B- C+ D
Pete is still a hidden gem imo. He's no change at SF and C so he could be a big time super sub. He played a lot of SF for me last year and did really well. If someone +8'd his inside scoring I think he could be a very useful starter. He +2'd his scoring this past TC so he's still on the rise.
12. Theo Ratliff C 25 6'10'' 235 C C- C- A- A- B (+6)
29.0 | 4.2 | 9.6 | 1.4 | 0.5 | 3.1 | 1.1 | .388 | .769 | .000
(1.15) Theo Ratliff C 6'10'' 230 22 C- D+ D+ B+ B B
Theo is still getting adjusted to the league after spending a few seasons abroad. He looks to be a really good defensive big. He blocks shots, doesn't turn it over, and makes his free throws. If he can get to A rebounding and/or defense then he would be a really quality starter. Good pick for Bruns.
13. Antonio McDyess C 24 6'9'' 233 C+ C- D+ A A- B (+3)
7.1 | 0.9 | 2.1 | 0.4 | 0.1 | 0.1 | 0.2 | .217 | .600 | .000
(1.7) Antonio McDyess PF 6'9'' 223 21 C+ D+ C- B+ B+ A
Eh, kind of disappointing here. He hasn't gotten much PT but when he did he didn't show much. He seems to have a pretty low blocks rating and very high jumping. Dump has Kurt and Stackhouse to make up for it.
14. Rasheed Wallace C 24 6'10'' 230 B+ C C- A- B B (+5)
6.8 | 1.8 | 2.7 | 0.6 | 0.0 | 0.9 | 0.2 | .353 | .667 | .000
(1.4) Rasheed Wallace PF 6'10'' 225 21 B C D+ B B- A
Eww. Sheed has busted big time so far. He can block shots but that's it. Terrible FG%, terrible jumper, and a bad rebounder. I'm not sure anyone saw this bust coming based on how popular of an irl player he is.
