Burks was a solid scorer in college who is a well rounded solid prospect. He shot well from the line in his two years at Colorado, but struggled to consistently find his long range shot in college. He's got a solid frame and was successful getting to the basket in a deep Big 12 conference. Burks is a bit above average as a rebounder from the 2 spot in school. Defensively his effort needs to improve and he needs to be smarter with the ball. If he can develop his range and defense he should be at least a rotational regular.
