Shumpert shines on the defensive end. He's a high effort guy who shuts down opposing wing players. Averaged almost 3 steals a game his junior season. Has a lot of room to grow on offense, he knocks down shots from the mid range and the line with some consistency, but he needs to get better from range if he's ever to become a scoring option. Shumpert should enter the league as one of the best perimeter defenders. Can pass the ball pretty well for an off guard, but point guard shouldn't be in his future in more of a utility role.
