Faried is close to a finished product at this point. He's a very athletic big who dominated lesser competition in the college ranks. He's a beast on the boards and a high effort guy. He needs to develop some post moves to become an effective scorer. Defensively he's a high effort guy whose impact doesn't show up on a stat sheet per se. He does turn the ball over quite a bit and isn't a very good passer. Faried struggles shooting the ball outside of the post as well, especially at the free throw line.
