Thompson dominated a low level of competition in college. It's hard to see how his skills will translate to the professional ranks given he played against nobodies. Thompson did do a good job of protecting the rim and getting his hands on balls. Thompson doesn't shoot very well from outside of 10 feet and probably won't ever. He does an ok job not turning the ball over, and can pass it a little bit.
