Dil's 3027 Big Board
Analyses
1. Joel Embiid C 7'0" 250 19 B+ C- D+ B+ B A 100
- These grades are ridiculous. Too ridiculous imo. I definitely don't think he had this kind of talent coming out irl but he does here apparently so he's the sure fire 1.1. He literally has no weakness, only strengths. Of course it will all come down to his build and the software but he has the best chance to be a superstar out of any of the other choices.
2. Jabari Parker SF/PF 6'8" 235 19 B B- C- B- C+ A 99
- I have Parker over Wiggins because Wiggins' C- handles and profile description slightly worry me. Parker should be a big time scorer from day one. Hopefully he has a solid potential that allows his other areas to grow. I really hope he settles in at PF.
3. Andrew Wiggins SG 6'8" 200 19 B B- C- B C A 98
- As mentioned above, Wiggins' handles and profile description scare me. He's either going to be a turnover machine or he's going to average 1 APG. Also he is a very strong candidate for 100 jumping. Could be wrong though. His grades are very very good and his potential should follow suit.
4. Dante Exum PG 6'6" 190 19 B C+ B- B- C- A 98
- I love Exum. These grades are incredible. He has elite size and no weakness other than a slightly low jumper. Luckily, outside is one of the easiest grades to increase via SC's and RC's. I'm excited to see how he progresses.
5. Julius Randle PF 6'9" 250 20 B+ C- D C+ B- A 97
- The last of the Fab Five for this draft. Randle could very well be the best scorer in this draft based on how his build will most likely be. The software will most likely determine whether his defense catches up.
6. Aaron Gordon PF 6'9" 220 19 B D+ C B B- A 93
- I think a lot of people are excited about Gordon. He's a big boom or bust player. He could have crazy high potential and be drafted to a GM that will pump +16 into his jumper. Or he could have 100 jumping and go to a team that will put no work into him.
7. Dario Saric SF/PF 6'10" 230 20 B C C- C+ B- A 91
- 2.0 Maverick legend Saric conveniently returns to sim with Soup commishing. Saric looks like another boom or bust guy. B C scoring for a big man is usually very good or very bad. I could see Soup going either way with this one.
8. Noah Vonleh PF 6'10" 240 19 B C D C+ B- A 89
- Noah has the same grades as Saric except he is -2 handles. He essentially has the same risk reward though. He is 19 though so you never know what the software will do.
9. Doug McDermott SF 6'8" 225 23 B- A- C- C C B 88
- Dougy Fresh coming in hot. Dude could be a killer scorer but his defense and rebounding are obviously lacking. If his defense and rebounding catch up to his scoring he will go from bench scorer to all-star.
10. Mitch McGary C 6'10" 260 22 B C- C- B- B B 88
- Hate this guy irl. Can't hate this grade set though. He should be a solid all around player. There's no real weakness here. There's quite a dropoff after 1.10 imo.
11. Elfrid Payton PG 6'4" 185 20 B C C+ C+ C- A 85
- Meh, always tough to see a PG with C outside. I think everyone like Elf irl so hopefully he has solid potential and the software likes him.
12. Adreian Payne PF 6'10" 240 23 B- B- D+ C C+ B 85
- Elite scoring grades for a PF but lacking in the defense and rebounding department. Loved watching him play in college. Hopefully a GM will pump some points into his key defensive attributes.
13. TJ Warren SF 6'8" 230 21 B C C- C+ C+ B 85
- Not surprised at his recent irl success, dude was incredible in college. His only weakness was his jumper and he seems to have found it.
14. PJ Hairston SG 6'5" 230 22 B- B- C C+ C B 81
- Cannot stand this dude.
15. James Young SG 6'6" 215 19 C+ B C- C+ C B 80
- Everyone knew he would suck irl. Came out way too soon.
