Ransey is an all around solid player. He's a pass first guy who won't turn the ball over a ton, but he can also knock down outside shots. He's very solid from the line, and his range extends to the NBA 3 pt line. Defensively he plays passing lanes well, but he's susceptible to get beaten by quicker guards. He's strong enough to back down smaller guards and take advantage of them in the post. Ransey is also more active on the glass than most point guards, but that sometimes limits him in getting out in transition.
