I'm going to predict the 3028 draft. The order is how I see the standings play out.
1. Sonics - Jesus Shuttlesworth
I don't see any other possible selection for ved. I think Jesus is the clear #1 in a very good draft which is light on bigs and heavy on wings. I don't think he will ever be pg eligible but will end up being an elite sg. Might be the safest pick in the draf .
2. Rockets - Steve Francis
Wow! What a great fit. I think Steven is the clear #2 so Dil is a smart man. If you avoid pg's when drafting high because it will hurt your future tank you're an idiot. Dil isn't an idiot.
3. Clippers - Elton Brand
When I first went through this I had dirt taking Marion because his love of wings. On second look he's going Brand. Which is a great selection. Soup already stated he liked Elton so that helps. And it shouldn't hurt his future tank. Because Brand isn't a pg.
4. Bullets (Hawks)- Shawn Marion
Couple ways you could go but the Matrix was a 2.0 great and probably Erics dream player. Gets steals and can block shots. Only worry would be his outside rating. But Marion should be a versatile player for Kn who desperately needs a solid wing to add to his core moving forward. Best advice I can give to Kn would be to trade blair asap. He's heading downhill fast.
5. Celtics - Baron Davis
Another former sim great. Grades don't look amazing but his skill set should translate. I'm iffy on this pick but Davis was a superstar irl for a bit so he's got that going for him. Could do worse here. That being said I already predicted a dump jump in the lotto. So he'll have his pick of the litter.
6. Magic - Lamar Odom
I like this pick quite a bit. The worry is Odom being a bitch irl and ditching the Mavs. That being said I remember him being very hyped up coming out. SHOULD have good quickness and minimal strength. This also means Jhb can stop with the Gordon at SF madness
7. Hornets - Manu Ginobli
Not really any worthy pg's left which ia the biggest need for Rv. I have him taking Manu. Which I feel is a very safe pick. A pick I wouldn't make.
8. Thunder - Jonathan Bender
I don't know if Gbg has the nuts to do it but I would. Because I'm a man. I think he's the highest ceiling player in the draft outside jesus. Could potentially be a 7 foot sf or sg? Like a liberal waiting in line for handouts, sign me up. Puke
9.Timberwolves - Rip Hamilton
At this point he's not even in bankz tank. I don't know what he's in. Certainly not the playoffs. Ever.
10. Bullets - Cory Maggete
Insert shitty Ian joke. A possible high ceiling wing for Kn who like I said before should trade Blair to get out of that albatross
11. Rockets (Heat)- Ron Artest
A pretty safe pick. But a good tc in offense makes him a very good player day 1. Only other way I'd go would be Jason Terry here.
12. Warriors - Jason Terry
Really like this pick if he falls here. I expect Soup to mess with build so he ends up not being useless. I loved Terry at Zona. If I were gay I'd have a no socks policy when I'm heebing around with a guy. But I'd make an exception for Jason.
13. Thunder (bulls) - AK 47
Another wing pick from gbg. Another great pick. AK should have a build similar to Marion. Will probably end up being a defensive force. Good pick
Best non lotto player - Cal Bowdler
Highest grade in the class - Rip Hamilton jumper
Lowest grade - Jason Terry strength
Highest potential and Jesus
Lowest potential - Manu
