I am terrible when it comes to figuring out stats and crunching numbers. I would assume this is good for me. Also, how am I 2nd in Efg% when I have a higher FG% and 3%?

Yes, both of the measures seem to indicate you are the strongest team at this point. As far as the eFG%, it's becaause the Kings shoot more 3s than the Jazz. In eFG%, a three is worth 1.5 times a 2 point FG because it is worth 1.5 times as many points. Formula is (FGM + 0.5 3PM) / FGA Kings: (46.5 + 3.55) / 96.9 = 0.5165118679050568 Jazz: (48.3 + 2.65) / 98.9 = 0.5151668351870576 So as you can see it was really close, it was just the fact that we were taking and making more 3s that made up for the fact that you shot it a little better from 2 and 3. After the latest sim, you have re-taken the #1 spot in eFG% by the smallest of margins. |
