TMBSL 3002
29. (1-14) Druce had some shit luck this FA with Dump getting lucky as sheet. He has no players on his squad and has the best shot at #1 odds come lotto time.
28. (2- 12) Denver should get top 2 lotto odds at the least. Robinson is having a helluva year and thats a great thing for JW. He will hold steady and tank his way into the 84 draft class next year.
27. (2-19) Fason was sucessful in traing off KAJ and try to tank in the next few drafts. He should out tank the Nuggets without a prime prospect like Big Dawg by season ends. He should have a chance for another top 5 pick next season. 76ers roster is looking alot better than what Canes ever did..ohsnap!
26. (1-17) Ank did a nice job trading away Bobby Flay Jones just before he lost Williamson in FA. He is on the tank hoping to land Chuck and make another 2.0 Pistons powerhouse.
25. (4-12) Well the good news is Jalen is playing filthy with low grades. The Bad news is he's going to make you win more games than the other tanking teams. The even better news is who knows what will happen when lotto rolls around.
24. (3-15) This year we have quite a few tanking teams. Who really knows who is going to happen when these crap teams play one another. Oops is another GM hoping to have a shitshow this year.
23. (6-14) I have no clue why this team has 6 wins already but they do. Ex Commish MJ can't catch a break when it comes to tanking for a all-star prospect.
22. (4-11) Greenwood is having a nice year and looking very promising. With the Knicks on the home stretch of their Tanking years he has the potential to lock up another top 5 lotto pick this season. With another TC, Greenwood and Kidd could be key pieces down the road for Skrouse.
21. (4-8) Buster is going through a tank or not fase. He does have a decent roster with a stud prospect but is trying to get a decent lotto pick. With the right lotto luck he could have a solid roster with alot of prospects. I don't see him getting top 5 odds but Buster has some luck when it comes to Sim League. He would probably call it skill but this season's report card is TBD.
20. (6-9) Kentucky is in the same boat as the Lakers when it comes to Power Rankings. Bankz has a solid Prospect in Moncrief and Dare but instead of tanking decided to throw a max at Richard Washington. Wash looks stout but when you look at the top of the Conferences KC just doesnt have the talent yet. They should stay high lotto odds when the season is done
19. (7-14) When RW figues out a DC the Hawks should be able to turn it around a little bit. They have talent even though they traded Foots and Frazier. My biggest worrie is keeping this middle-row team for as long as he's going to have to. With no picks until 07 and a crappy Dawkins contract raises a shit ton of eyebrows and questions of: Why in the hell did we allow him back in the league. The lucky ass GMs who own ATL Hawks 1st Rounders are going to be drooling when Barker leaves this Free Agency.
18. (6-13) The Heat are just awful. I have no clue why Canes hasn't tried to sell out and win or sell off and lose. I've tried getting McAsux off his team for weeks with no success. He has his pick but what are picks when they are always late lotto instead of top 3. I think looking at RW and realizing he is GMing like him he might finally try to do something with his team.
17. (6-8) The Thunder just can't win its that simple. The roster looks good but the GM/Coach can't do shit at all. I guess a new ownership might be in order or maybe Bobby Jones is too busy working on his golfing career. All i know is JHB has a long time with this group and i feel sorry for him being the bottom of the Midwest.
16. (10-7) Devine really has no idea what he's doing. I'm surprised he offered Roundfield a Max and e hhonestly truly believes his team can compete for a title. If the Software wouldnt Software i would say that is a 0% chance for as long as he makes the top decisions for GS.
15. (12-5) This is whn the teams get similar and its tough to put teams where. I really like Wilkes because of his insane numbers but i don't really see another great player that could compete with the other teams with multiple All-Stars. Trading 2 picks for E.Jones can be good but could be bad. For someone that doesn't write alot of articles not having +15 into him could be costly.
14. (9-7) The Nets are in a akward place right now with 2 very young stud Big Men. If Scat can get his head on straight and put some talent around them he should have a shot at competing for the division. Who knows maybe he can land Doc or Gervin this FA.
13. (8-7) Vedder has one of the best teams i've really seen him put together. With another piece or two he could have a team to compete in the playoffs. Parish is looking good but i didnt like his trade involving Kermit, even though he beat the Clippers in Sim 3.
12. (10-7) The injury bug bit quick for the Rockets in 3002. With Truck back healthy and averaging a heavy dose of points they should easily back on their way to the top of the West. He may lack the MVP caliber player but if T-rob can keep it up, i could be eating crow come Awards time.
11. (8-3) The Rumar Mill has been turing in the Twolves front office. With Hayes on his way out i put Minnesota in the 11 hole. I'm not sure if Ian turned Scumbag or was full of shit but i see the Timberwolves fall in the standing the closer we get to the end of the season.
10. (13-8) The Bulls pulled off a nice trade sending out a ShitAss Dawkings Max to RW who was in the league le ss than 24 Hours. He finally has a group of wings to put along side a nice set of bigs. Foots is a commish special but can he play D against the best of SkyWalker or Magic? He should keep competing for a top spot in the East and should have an even better chance next year after another TC for Marshall and Natt.
9. (11-6) Last years 01 Champions bring back the same roster. When you have Wesphal anything can happen in the playoffs. Winters is having a solid year once again and should stay in the top 10 Ranking pending on injuries.
8. (13-3) Cleveland is having a nice year after losing Lanier to Boston. A great trade with LAC gave them the depth to move forward and stay competeing in the Easot. Webster is having a rough start percentage wise but looks to be the anchor of the franchise pending on next season's Free Agency. HT hopes to keep this team togher come next year and maybe with a starting SF he can try to make another run for a title.
7. (15-6) The city of Walton is extreamly happy with how the Blazers are playing. Duc is desperately searching for a superstar and if he can find it he should jump to the top 3 in the TMBSL Power Ranking. Every GM knows anything can happen in the top heavy West.
6. (15-4) Trofie has built an outstanding team with Doctor J playing alongside KAJ. He has a great oppurtunity to be the 1 seed in the Big East. Its still early and i'm not sure who i would bet on at who goes into the playoffs with home court advantage.
5. (15-6) Boston had by far the best Day 1 FA ever in TMBSL history. I'm very curoius to watch this season and ohers followng to see if Dump can turn Boston into a championship franchise. Its really funny to see his apparent Smugness in Shout and would be even better to watch his team fall in the finals of game 7. Its still really early and i see him being a top 5 team until he goes on tilt and sells off one of his key players.
4. (19-4) The Hornets have been busy this off-season trading Williamson for Carr this Free Agency. Great decision trading for Lucas to give him another wing or big man to go alongside a solid Billy Paultz. Should be a great competitve East when it's all said and done. I don't think any of us could have seen such a strong start from the CHA. If he can keep this up it would be a nice and successful off-season for RV12.
3. (15-3) The Clippers are having a strong start in 3002. Magic is playing insane right now and that could be a huge reason LAC is having the year they are. They have a big 3 and really not much else. I see them competing for the pacific with the Blaze but really don't have the depth to compete with UTH and DAL. If Dirt can make a move for a better PG or PF he could have a chance.
2. (14-4) The Jazz are going to be wishing they overpaid Caldwell when its Western Conference Title time. The Jazz are still great defensively and are one of the 2 favorites to win the title this season. Gervin looks elite as ever and 2poor has build the team based on depth so It's going to be a dog fight for the Midwest Banner. I'm excited to see who will get Home Court and have the advantage come playoff time.
1. (14-7) Dallas has gone 14-7 regardless of not having Hayes just yet and Kenon out for a few games. They have a huge Big 3 with a young stud on the wing just waiting to get better next TC. Kenon is young and if he and Paxson can get signed to numerous years holy shit watch out. His main core is 20 something youngsters that should stay elite for some time. I'm scared to see this team 2 years from now with Skywalker , Jimmy P and Kenon + Kel.
