Rider enters the league with very good physical attributes. He's a great jumper, and is pretty strong as well. He's very good from the free throw line, and his range extends pass the pro three point line. He should be a very good scorer after putting up almost 30 points a game as a sophomore at UNLV. Rider is an OK passer, but he also has some turnover problems. He doesn't give a ton of effort on the glass, but got by in college by being a superior athlete. Defensively is where Rider is lacking. He's not a total ghost, but he has his issues staying with opposing wings and is lacking some quickness.
