Laettner is one of the greatest college players of all time and has the potential to be an elite scorer at the next level. He has a crafty low post game, a very good jumper and range that extends to the pro three point line. Laettner is a solid rebounder and capable defender, but far from elite on that end of the floor. He is not a threat to block too many shots and could potentially get exposed down low by bigger or quicker players.  |

At the east regionals in Philly, they put up facts/stats on the jumbotron during TOs. At one point they were listing off all-time tourney greats. For the most part people were just reading it and being like, "Oh wow, I had no idea Tom Gola had that many rebounds in an NCAA tournament." But as soon as Christian showed up on the jumbotron, the entire arena spontaneously, and in unison, boo'd.
It brought a tear to my eye.
