Williams was an elite scorer during his senior season at Maryland, demonstrating the ability to score in a variety of ways. He was able to use his size and strength to bully opposing SFs down low while shooting over PFs who were unwilling to play him outside. Williams can help facilitate an offense with his ability to pass; he averaged nearly 4 assists a game during his college career. He will need to work on his handling though as he had some problems with turnovers. He’s just an average rebounder from the SF spot and a lack of foot speed hurts him when defending quicker players. Williams should be a no brainer lotto pick on draft night.
