Peeler showed his ability as a lethal sharpshooter on his way towards winning Big 8 POY in 1992. He was one of the best three point shooters in the country during his final two seasons at Missouri. Peeler is not the greatest athlete and unlikely to drive inside among the trees, so all his points figure to come from perimeter shots.  He is a good passer, but will need to work on his ball handling as turnovers were a problem.   As a defender, Peeler is very solid and will use his quick hands to grab steals. Scouts project him to be a fringe lotto-mid first round pick.
