Lil Penny 20 PG 5'3 145 Memphis C+ B+ B B C- A When they first pop in the tapes, scouts laugh about Lil Penny's potential to play professionally...then they press play. Penny may be the smallest player in Division 1, but he might be the most athletic. Penny can jump out of the gym, dunking with ease. Not only does he have springs for legs, but Penny backs it up with a deadly jumper. He does a good job creating his own shot, blowing by defenders with his quickness, then stepping back and draining shots in their faces. Penny isn't going to out bench...anyone in the league, but he can finish among the trees with a nice floater and good body control. Penny also does a great job finding the open man when he's driving to the basket, and does a good job taking care of the basketball. On defense Penny uses his quickness to get a good amount of steals, but he'll be taken advantage of by larger guards. Penny's range goes beyond the arc, where he consistently knocks down the trey ball.

a profile that indicates high jumping and low strength is a little more troubling than his size
