 George Mikan 22 C 6'10 245 DePaul B C- D+ B B+ AMikan is viewed as the best big man prospect in this draft due to his emerging post game and potential to become an elite rim protector. He still needs to work on his back to the basket game, but he has a soft touch around the rim and can finish well with either hand. Mikan shot free throws well for a big; he was able to improve his FT% to 76.9% during his senior season at DePaul. He’s already a strong rebounder and should average a double-double from day one. He can hold his own as a post defender, but needs to get better about allowing his man position down low. Mikan’s shot blocking ability has scouts excited about his potential to anchor a team’s defense. He likely won’t last past the third pick in this draft. |

He would have been in the 48/49 draft but we aren't using that class because it's too long ago. Soup told me to scatter the good players from that class into future classes, I thought it was a good time to put him in the league with Shaq. |
