Bennett is viewed as the one of the best scorers in this draft; at times he proved to be unguardable during his lone season at UNLV. He was often able to use his big body, power and solid post moves to score inside. While also showing the ability to step out beyond the arc and hit the open jumper. He shoots free throws pretty well but there is still room for improvement. He’s a decent rebounder, often using his size and strength for positioning. He could struggle on defensive end because he lacks a true position. SFs should be able to take advantage of his lack of quickness and PFs should be able to shoot over him. He has the ability and athleticism to chip in a block or two but shouldn’t be expected to be among the league leaders. Bennett still has plenty of room to grow but also has a very high ceiling and should go somewhere within the top 6 picks. |
