Arriving at Indiana an unpolished athlete, Oladipo has had a meteoric rise to stardom on account of his tremendous work ethic. An effort defender, Victor locks down perimeter players and is very disruptive in passing lanes. He also is an above-average shot blocker for a player of his size, especially in transition. Offensively, Victor thrives in transition and his FG percentage may be inflated due to easy buckets but he is still an efficient scorer. He is an average FT shooter for a guard, and has developed a reliable three ball in Bloomington. Some scouts feel that in time, Oladipo may be able to transition to point guard because of his solid handles and willingness to get teammates involved. Due to his high floor, high potential and tremendous work ethic Oladipo looks like one of the safer picks in this draft and should go top 5.
