In a draft filled with many defensive focused big men, Noel is thought to be the very best of them. Noel was the best rim protector in college basketball last season, altering many shots in the paint while blocking over 4 shots a game. Noel was also able to use his length and quickness to grab over 2 steals a game. He was a plus rebounder but there is still room for improvement. He should become an elite rebounder as he gets stronger and puts on weight. Offensively, Noel is a total project and shouldn’t be expected to ever become much of a scorer. He’ll likely never develop much of a back to the basket game, all of his points should come on put backs or assisted dunks. Noel could go as high as mid-lotto due to his potential to be a future defensive player of the year.
