McLemore is your prototypical shooting guard prospect due to his combination of elite athleticism and pure shooting ability. In his lone season at Kansas, he was able to make 74 threes on 42% and shot close to 50% overall. He's also already an excellent free throw shooter.  McLemore is a great athlete that gets easy buckets in transition. His defense needs to catch up to his offense as he sometimes gets lost on rotations and isn’t much of a threat yet to get many steals. The ability is there to become a plus defender, he just needs better focus. Opinions vary on just how high McLemore should be selected, but there are teams who feel he is definite top 5 pick due to his potential to be a franchise difference maker.
