Caldwell-Pope is a solid all-around player that was able to do a little bit of everything for his team. While at Georgia, he was relied upon to guard the other team’s best wing while also being a volume scorer. He was able to use his length and quickness to grab 2 steals a game. Caldwell-Pope is an adept rebounder for a guard and also a very willing passer. His field goal percentage was disappointingly low but that could a product of being so heavily relied upon to create at the end of the shot clock. The shooting stroke is there for him to be a consistent outside shooter at the next level as proven by his good free throw percentage. Caldwell-Pope is a relatively safe pick in this draft and should go somewhere in the top half of the first round.
