Trey Burke 21 PG 6'1 191 Michigan C+ B- B C D+ B
Burke is the top pure point guard prospect in this class. He’s an efficient scorer with a smooth jump shot and range that extends well past the college line. His strong build makes him capable of finishing inside after absorbing contact. He’s considered a better scorer than distributor but he was able to rack some up impressive assist numbers during his time at Michigan. He does a good job taking care of the ball and likely won’t turn it over often. He’s only a solid athlete for a PG and may struggle to defend quicker or taller guards. He should be able to steal the ball occasionally but probably won’t ever be among the league leaders. A team in the back end of the lottery could take him if they have a need to fill at point guard.

Is he even still in the NBA? Trapped in Utah splitting time with guards who aren't as good as him.

Trey had missed that same step back three several times during the season in end of clock situations. He was due to make one, and it couldn't have come at a better time. That Michigan team was a lot of fun to watch. There are some good Trey .gifs to choose from for dilworth too. Off the top of my head, I hope to see the stepback against Kansas, the pick pocket steal of Appling, and the "foul" in the national championship game that should have been a clean block against Peyton Siva.

I forgot that meeechigan team went that far People were predicting them to be a potential first round upset. Nate Wolters and the Jackrabbits were a trendy pick to beat Michigan. Then simple Mitch was unleashed, and Michigan ran VCU, Florida, and Syracuse off the courts, before edging Kansas in OT. It was a lot of fun to watch.
