Olynyk started his career at Gonzaga as a SF but decided to redshirt after his sophomore season so he could put on the weight and develop the strength to become a center. His past as a SF shows in his shooting stroke. He’s very comfortable knocking down mid-range jump shots and has range that extends just inside the college three point line. Most scouts believe he’ll be able extend his range to the pro line in time. He’s already an excellent free throw shooter for a big. Olynyk developed a strong post game and is a capable scorer on the block but is expected to be more of stretch four at the next level. His lack of athleticism and length make him just an average rebounder for his size. He can hold his own as a post defender, but isn’t much of a rim protector and likely won’t block too many shots. Could go as high as the late lotto if a team falls in love with his offensive ability. |

B inside for a guy that shot 66% on 2s at a fairly high volume? He did that in the WCC and a good portion of his points came on mid-range jumpers. Don't want to give him too good of scoring grades because he went #13 overall. I can change his scoring grades to B+/C if people would like those better. |

Yeah I get what you're saying. We've also never had a good way to create bigs who are low volume but efficient because they're good around the basket.

Decent scoring grades, but lack of blocks is a concern.
