Elgin Baylor 23 SG/SF 6'6 225 Seattle B B- C B B A
Baylor is the crown jewel of this strong draft class. A prolific scorer that is effective inside and out. He’s very good in the mid-range and has a smooth jump shot from the outside. He should be able to get to the free throw line often and shoot a high percentage. Baylor is a high volume rebounder for his size and should average close to double digit boards a night. As a defender, he is very physical. His strength and athleticism made him a shut defender at Seattle. He could become one of the best two way wings in the league. Without any true weakness, Baylor looks ready to come in and help turn a downtrodden franchise around. Baylor will likely be the first player chosen in the draft.

Only fitting that teams would end up tanking for someone who was a mainstay at the NBA draft lottery for so many seasons

Yea his grades were too good, -1 outside. His rebounding grade is so high because he averaged 13.5 for his career.

From the 1961-1963 seasons, Elgin Baylor had per game averages of 35.3 points, 17.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. Unreal.

ok dump, at no point did I ever make a player this good What grades would you give Baylor? his grades are consistent to the caliber of player he is/was while keeping with the state of grades in the league. I wasn't critiquing the job you are doing, but saying that we have come to a similar point as 2.0 where inflation has really taken hold.

Like I said in the Jimmy Jackson thread, the battles between Elgin and Jimmy should be epic.

Taking a look at the draft class to help avoid depression.
We'd be honored to select Elgin as the next great Brooklyn Net.

At the end of 2.0, almost every decent team had more than half their starters with at least three A- grades, it was absurd.
