Gasol is a polished low post scorer with excellent footwork and touch around the rim. He shoots free throws well for a big man, and may be able to extend his range to 18 feet out on his jumper. He’s an adept passer for a big; he’s able to find open teammates out of double teams and from the high post. Defensively, he has a lot of length and good timing as a shot blocker. He’s not an elite rebounder yet, but that should come once he improves his strength. Gasol has the potential to be a perennial all-league player and a franchise cornerstone.
