Okur has the unique ability to stretch a defense from the center position. He has a very smooth release and soft touch on his jump shot. With some development, he could extend his range to beyond the three point line. He doesn’t have much of low post game, but is good at finishing assisted layups or on offensive rebounds. Defensively, he is more focused on staying in front of his man rather than contesting shots. He lacks the leaping ability and athleticism to make an impact as a shot blocker. He rebounds at a decent rate, but isn’t overly active on the defensive glass. At worst, he should be a rotational big that supplies instant offense off the bench.
