Dil's 3032 Big Board
Analysis
1. Jimmy Jackson SG 6'6" 220 22 B B C B C+ A 100
- Possibly the best prospect to ever come through 4.0 considering the history of his sim name and the comments made by the commish. Just the fact that he is ranked above Shaq who is a top 5 all-time prospect in his own right says enough. I don't really know what to specifically expect from Jimmy but I think we all expect him to be great.
2. Shaquille O'Neal C 7'1" 325 21 A D+ C- A- A- B 100
- Shaq Diesel makes his entrance. The best 1.2 prospect ever? Probably. The combination of size, strength, skill, and attitude makes him the greatest inside threat to every enter da league. The only weakness is his outside rating which is the easiest weakness to deal with imo. Can't wait to see what this guy can do.
3. Alonzo Mourning C 6'10" 240 22 B+ C D+ A- B B 100
- The best 1.3 prospect ever? Probably. These are 1.1 grades. Mourning was touted as one of the best college defender ever but his scoring is definitely not lacking. He doesn't possess the size or athleticism that Shaq does but he can hit a jumper and his arms are huge. Unbelievable top three in this draft.
4. Christian Laettner PF/C 6'11" 235 22 B+ B- C- B- B B 99
- If this guy had a different name he would be getting much more hype. Incredible starting grades. These are the best starting scoring grades you can ask for and he doesn't have any holes elsewhere. Not a bad consolation for being outside of the top three.
5. Jesse Epstein PG 6'2" 175 21 B+ B C- B- C B 97
- Interesting prospect here. He's clearly going to be a great scorer but he can't effectively play PG with C- handles and his defense will probably drop with a move to SG (even though that doesn't really matter). He could turn out to be a solid PG if he has high handles, low quickness, and low passing. Either way, he definitely holds a lot of value with these starting grades.
6. Latrell Sprewell SG 6'5" 190 22 B- B- C B- C A 94
- Best shoe game in the draft. I have him this high because of his potential and I love Spree. His future will be up to the software and his GM. Hopefully he goes to someone who will commit to pumping points into where ever the software neglects. He has a very solid base to start with.
7. Billy Hoyle SG 6'3" 190 23 C+ B+ C B- C B 93
- So crafty, so precise, surprisingly not as white as he looks. He looks to be very efficient scorer and not as bad of a defender as one would think. Have to get that inside scoring up if he wants to be elite. Jumping: 15
8. Robert Horry PF 6'9" 220 21 C+ C+ C- B B- A 91
- Unfortunately for Big Shot Bob there isn't a clutch attribute. He does have a very enticing skill set though. Great defender that should put up solid stats to go along with a well rounded scoring base. He could thrive a SF. Like Hoyle, he needs to grow that inside scoring.
9. Walt Williams SF 6'8" 220 22 B B- C C+ C A 90
- Another great looking scorer in this class. Hopefully he can play SG or his potential grows his rebounding because a C rating at SF is a pretty big hole. Never heard of this guy irl.
10. Tom Gugliotta PF 6'10" 240 22 B C+ C B- B B 90
- Tommy Gugs comes in with a very nice grade set. He should probably go higher than this tbh. Really strong scoring grades, incredible handles for a PF, and no weakness at defense or rebounding. Nothing to complain about here. These players seem to boil down to the quality of the inside grade.
11. Sidney Deane PG 6"0" 175 22 C+ C+ B+ B- C- A 87
- Not as high on Sidney and maybe some others are. He's going to be very athletic and I don't take much stock in the handles grade. That being said, I do think he will have very high potential and he should be taken in the lotto.
12. Harold Miner SG 6'5" 210 21 B B- C C C+ A 87
- I would try to move this guy to SF and see if his defense improves. He has the rebounding and inside grade to make it work if defense allows it. Another great looking scorer with great potential.
13. LaPhonso Ellis PF 6'8" 240 22 B C D+ B- B B 85
- Great first name, great starting grades, could be taken higher than this.
14. Adam Keefe PF/C 6'9" 230 23 B C- D+ B- B+ B 83
- Very similar grades to a few other guys in this class. Who knows which of them will turn out to be players.
15. Doug Christie SG 6'6" 200 22 C+ B- C B C B 82
- Big Doug comes in with super average starting grades. I never really liked him irl.
